We got blasted before we went on... which was stupid looking back at it...

and playing standing up isn't nearly as cool as sitting down :(

kinda crappy, im not feeling that good so i didn't go to this big party tonight and with my luck it will be the party of the year, i broke my E string on my bass taking it off so i could take mesurments for the bridge that i building and now i have to play my 5 string and i don't really like that bass (starting to like it more now). thats cool about your band, just a demo that you are doing??

Yeah, a demo..the my bass teacher is also our drummers drum teacher and she has a professional recording studio so yeah...were just gonna lay down covers this time...originals next.

cool, if you are paying something like $100 a song (which i assume is close) i would go for all originals. that way you have a better chance of getting signed also you will sell more copys. most people like hearing covers live, but not a hole cd full of them. i love haveing a friend that owns a indie lable.

And another thing...we have over 40 originals...we havnt gone over them all but our guitarist dave is a awesome composer...

thats good that hes good, ust telling you that the $15 an hour will include mixing, mastering and producing the songs. its not just the studio time (if it is you are getting a kickarse deal). so it will come out to more than you think, its a method used by producers and people with studios, it makes it look like you are getting a better deal than you really are.

So I went to Bass Alone today with Quatre, and I played an absolutely amazing bass. Its the Marleaux MBass. It had the smoothest tone with a great warmth and growl to it. And its versatile as heck. It can mimic a musicman extremely well, as well as a Pbass and Jazz. Anybody ever played one?
