OMG SO MUCH PWN SANDWICH WITH THE FIXINGS LIKE LETUCE AND CHEESE

pwn just walk away and bobba eran you silly israelite.
Crass said it best in England. And people LISTENED. They listened, and they acted. This guy is just cliche'. He sounds exactly like Erik Petersen. But Petersen's lyrics are much much better.

Liebensaft 02-02-2006 06:27 PM

Petersen's voice and lyrics are both better. But that doesn't make Johnny Hobo any less awesome.

coheneran 02-02-2006 06:28 PM
Petersen's voice and lyrics are both better. But that doesn't make Johnny Hobo any less awesome.
No. Even without Erik Petersen's existence, he isn't that amazing.

Last night I drew a robot because I couldn't get to sleep.

Wow, that's really cute. Make a comic strip!

Ninja EDIT: Sorry, that wasn't meant to sound patronizing.

Liebensaft 02-02-2006 06:30 PM

Sweet robot. No erase lines or anything either. U r a artist.

Liebensaft 02-02-2006 06:31 PM

Yes. Yes he is.

Gnarmageddon 02-02-2006 06:31 PM

Eric, get back on AIM so we can play CS.

And nice robot.

coheneran 02-02-2006 06:32 PM
Yes. Yes he is.
Face it, he's the folk-punk equivalent of Anti-Flag.

OH NO HE DIDN'T!

sketchyjoe 02-02-2006 06:36 PM

Except Johnny Hobo sing heartfelt, DIY, smart, angry, bitter, dark, humourous, sweet, carefree, underground, drunken rants about life.

And Anti-Flag sing hypocritical sloganising quasi-political crap.

Stop talking out of your arse. You are a twat.

Rise Me Up 02-02-2006 06:37 PM

I freaking love Johnny Hobo.

Up until RCA, Anti-Flag were DIY. I don't know why I just said that, I hate them. But I stand by my opinion that Johnny Hobo is saying nothing new, and he's not saying it very well either. His emotions in the delivery are heartfelt, but that's it. And anyway, just about every guy in a pub has a drunken rant about life.

Ok, fuck that hobo bitch, back to my metaphorical self-portrait.

In the rest of this thread, discuss the depth and intricate metaphors represented by this picture.

Liebensaft 02-02-2006 06:50 PM

It's a robot. It makes me think of techno music. Techno music makes me think of ecstasy. Ecstasy makes me think of other illegal drugs. LSD is an illegal drug. Johnny Hobo wrote the Acid Song. I love the acid song.

You like Crass, therefore your opinion of music is invalid.

As a webcomic enthusiast, you should have an opinion.

I was too lazy to do a mass quoting. It was a nice robot.
Shutup. That's just stupid.
And so it what he is saying. He is just talking out of his ***, as he always does.

Bashing Johnny Hobo is bad, yes, but just bashing a band he likes is just as bad.

obese_breasts 02-02-2006 08:34 PM

I don't like Johnny Hobo. I listened to him a bit a while ago. never liked him.

AIRIC 02-02-2006 08:35 PM

Crass suck, Johnny H doesn't.

The bash was relevant. +5 points awarded to Nick nack heart attack.

RIP Ian Curtis 02-02-2006 09:02 PM

Haven't listened to any Johnny Hobo before, folk-punk doesn't seem to exist in Australia at the moment. Any songs I have to hear?

AIRIC 02-02-2006 09:06 PM

New Mexico Song.

Nerdcore753 02-02-2006 09:20 PM

Two name changes in one day?!?!

AIRIC 02-02-2006 09:24 PM

I know. Blasphemy.

Brain Toad 02-02-2006 09:26 PM

That's because someone bitched about the last one.

Anti-Prefix 02-02-2006 09:27 PM

Just call it the Community thread.

Samual de champlain is trying to return gnar to my tyranical.. I mean wonderful rule.

Nerdcore753 02-02-2006 09:35 PM

Tyranny > Gnar

AIRIC 02-02-2006 09:36 PM

Nick honestly, I can care less. People weren't supposed to ride my dick this much.

Nerdcore753 02-02-2006 09:37 PM

Yeah, I honestly can't figure out why so many people went along with this gnar stuff.

Brain Toad 02-02-2006 09:38 PM
Nick honestly, I can care less. People weren't supposed to ride my dick this much.
Haha I know. It got really out of hand I think. That's why I changed the thread name, the entire thing is kind of old and people took it a litlle too seriously.

AIRIC 02-02-2006 09:45 PM

Nick I think it's time to let this go. It's been fun, but Gnar is dead to me for now. Maybe at some other time I can restart my reign of awesomness.

Brain Toad 02-02-2006 09:47 PM
Nick I think it's time to let this go. It's been fun, but Gnar is dead to me for now. Maybe at some other time I can restart my reign of awesomness.
It was good while it lasted.

AIRIC 02-02-2006 09:48 PM

Close the Constitutioin of Gnar as well with a final announcement.

Quiet Mr. I-Can't-Spell-Corporate

Nerdcore753 02-02-2006 09:55 PM

:-(

Corprate Authority was my band's name at the time I got this account. My guitarist spelled our name wrong when we registered for a show, so we decided to keep it.

Oh the days of being 13.

DaveToopes 02-02-2006 10:38 PM

When I was age 13, I sucked at life.
