Jeremy changed it to General Discussion when there was a huge spam attack that caused him to shut it down for a week or so. Then he moved it to the bottom of the page (it used to be relatively close to the top of the page) and changed it to General Discussion in hope to attract a better crowd.

The pit was hilarious in '04/'05. I don't remember it much in '03 when I had my first account.

No I think I was 12. I used to browse MX tabs with my friend in 7th grade and they used to have forum topics in the tab margins. I browsed the site for a long time without ever joining and eventually made an account in '03, but forgot its name and then made SilentScream in '04.

I didn't know what an internet forum was until I was like 17
