Which do you prefer. Grind Carcass or (melo) death Carcass? I much much prefer grind Carcass.

I'm partial to the melo-death carcass, mostly because I don't dig grind much though.

After Necrotism Carcass sucks.

As I have said, I enjoy the entire canon of Carcass and many of their rip-off bands.

Swansong isn't weird at all. It actually makes perfect sense as an extension of their direction when you listen to it.

they might be hated on this forum, but i like Jester Race and Whoracle.

In Flames is good stuff, but melo-death is a pretty controversial subject in here.

I like Jester Race, but I find the grand majority of the other albums uninteresting.

Whoracle has some cool proggy moments and nicely flowing melodic riffing, and Jester Race is one of the best gothenburg albums tbh. Their other stuff is either more of the same except worse or synth-driven nu metal.

Compared to old grind Carcass, yes it does suck.

The title track to Jester Race is better than most of Whoracle. The biggest part of Whoracle is that after you listen to Food for the Gods, youve heard the "root riff" to the rest of the album

Whoracle is too samey. That wouldn't really be a big problem is the source material wasn't boring.

moondance is the only song i could stand on TJR, until the singing/distortion comes in
