Dr. Jake Destructo 05-11-2005 11:27 PM

Do it now. Mornings suck.

Illmatic 05-11-2005 11:29 PM

If you actually think you can wake up early enough to do it, go ahead. But you're probably in a better state of mind to do it now than you would be tomorrow morning.

Dr. Jake Destructo 05-11-2005 11:32 PM

I always procrastinate. Like tonight-I have about an hour of math homework, but I'm telling myself, "Nah, I'll get up at 5:30 and I'll be able to finish it." Shyeah right. Sure, I'll set my alarm, it'll go off, I'll press snooze, it'll go off again, but I'll still get up when I normally do. If I were you, I wouldn't put it off. :thumb:
Do it now. Mornings suck.
I agree here.

Back in high school, I tried waking up at 5AM to lift, but I just couldn't force myself to get up, eat a shitty breakfast, try to lift on a shitty breakfast, then shower and go to school. It was too hard for me.

Just do it now, go to bed, and get some sleep after. That way, you won't have to think in the back of your mind that you need to wake up early to finish something.

Leper 05-11-2005 11:52 PM

definitely do it now.

Lord Abortion 05-12-2005 03:24 AM

guten morgen mx...

another day... more sleep needed methinks

first band practice this lunchtime

magicbus 05-12-2005 04:52 AM

Yea Jim explained Cedar Point pretty well, our physics classes take a bus down to Ohio and we spend the day at an amusement park, learning physics firsthand! It's really easy, because like he said, the Physics 1 classes have a hugeass packet to do for their final, but I'm in Physics 2 and we have to do like 4 problems, which we make up. Then it's rollercoasters for the rest of the day.

And Yousendit was screwing up, so the videos didn't upload right, but I'll get them later tonight.

Have a good day everyone :)

I'll edit this post with my final answer to Bartender re: his scheduling snafu thing (after screwing up an answer two or three times) :-\

EDIT: Try as I might, I still don't get it :(

1. Philosophy of Language (2)

2. Ancient Philosophy (Plato, Aristotle) (1)

3. Political Philosophy (1)

4. Theories & Observations in Science (2) (even though this class looks boring as hell)

5. Realism and Anti-Realism (1)

6. Media Ethics and Philosophy of Sport (2)

I know that you really want to take Sartre and Nietzsche, but this is the only 50/50 split that I can think of that would be interesting to you. Sorry :(
Nah, I think you understood it that time. I don't think that's what I'll be taking though, heh :)

Riva 05-12-2005 06:58 AM

Well, I am not close to picking my new subjects, since I have another 6 months of this year to go. However, I do appreciate the well wishes of everyone who has noticed that I do attend a University which examines students. :)

Also, the new Monday Night Mayhem is up. Enjoy. :D

 Thursday Night Mayhem, huh?

Well, I have to say that I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I've felt like crap for a while, I think I'm going to purge myself of some unmentionable bodily fluids.

Hahaha, thanks. Can you think of a good creative (themed appropriately, obviously) usertitle for me? I asked gaslight and ChodaBoy and they said they'd think about it, but they haven't given me an answer :(

Fall semester begins August 29th, and I'm not sure if I have to go to convocation or not, which is the 26th. Hopefully not. That semester ends December 17th.

Winter semester begins January 9th, 2006 and concludes April 29th, 2006.

You know what, I hope my old roommate dies this summer.
Nah, I think you understood it that time. I don't think that's what I'll be taking though, heh :)
Oh. Sorry :-\

EDIT: my mom just called from work and told me to meet her at Taco Bell for lunch

EDIT at ATM's post below me: that has NOTHING to do with the superhero !

EDIT at Bartender's post below me: you don't like the :o smiley? Why?

Tender, what is your opinion on the Arcade Fire CD? I'm really digging it, at the moment.

It means :embarrassed:, doesn't it? Which doesn't really fit with what I was saying. I'm a child of MSN, so to me it means  :)

You don't really have to edit to posts below you, you know. Why do you?
I've only heard a couple of tracks from it, via pixies. I can't really remember what they were like, though. I remember it being one of the more popular albums of last year, though.

Cain 05-12-2005 10:11 AM

I wish more people were interested in this Elvis thread. It's got a ton of significance, but most people seem like they want to ignore the points I've been bringing up rather than taking them seriously. :(

Bartender 05-12-2005 10:47 AM

Considering my previous total highest score was c75,000, yes, I am. Took a screenshot and everything.

munky_magik 05-12-2005 10:47 AM

You crazy kids and your essays

Bartender 05-12-2005 10:48 AM

How did you get on with your 3,000 word geography essay?

:)

munky_magik 05-12-2005 10:52 AM

Finished it last night, handed in today, ready for collection tomorrow.
An exam tomorrow, one on Monday, and then I'm finished school for ever

Shred Danson 05-12-2005 01:05 PM

Ha, I have like ZERO schoolwork. If I do, I don't know about it.

Bartender 05-12-2005 02:08 PM

I'm not too bothered about the work I have at the moment, actually. It's annoying to have a half a dozen essays to hand in within a week of each other, but since I have to do practically nothing in the months leading up to it, I can live with it.

Lord Abortion 05-12-2005 02:52 PM

TV is good... exams bad!

anybody see ray mears bushcraft?
that fella is amazingly cool

Arucard 05-12-2005 03:17 PM

I am thinking of a name change to either :

Joe88
88Joe
ItachiUchiha

What do you guys think?

CemetaryGates9 05-12-2005 03:20 PM

88 Fingers Joe > ItachiUchiha > Joe88 > 88Joe

Today sucked nuts.

Illmatic 05-12-2005 03:24 PM

"ItachiUchiha"?

WTF, dum Japanophile.

Today I visited my old high school, twas fun. I will get into that later. Also, I'm trying to decide on a prospective major.

Arucard 05-12-2005 03:28 PM

Japanophile? Thats not even a word. You could have just said im Japan obsessed, which i am.

Illmatic 05-12-2005 03:33 PM

Japanophile is slang, fool.

And either way I don't get the obsession with Japan. Other than beer in vending machines there isn't a whole heck of a lot there that appeals to me.

Of course, Japan is the only country in the world that likes America (and that includes America), so they have that going for them.

Lord Abortion 05-12-2005 03:37 PM

japan liking america is not neccessarily a good thing

CemetaryGates9 05-12-2005 03:38 PM

When I think of Japan, I think of bicycles. *shrugs*

Why, pray, are you obsessed with Japan?

Illmatic 05-12-2005 03:53 PM

A : Manga
B : Society
C : History
D : Some of the women are REALLY HOT. Alot of total mongs, but about 5% of them are SO HOT.
E : Not everyone their is a cunt.
F : No scalleys.
G : Better than England.
H : You sleep on the ground.
I : You eat on the ground.
J : Food (Sushi).
K: Music. Loads of great bands play their, and i like the pop culture.

Thats mainly it.

Illmatic 05-12-2005 04:24 PM

A. dislike manga
B. well, I guess their society is okay, from what I can tell, although it can get a little depraved ("provocative" cheerleading and music videos have nothing on used panties being sold in vending machines and hentai, methinks)
C. their history doesn't excite me
D. Asian chicks do absolutely nothing for me
E. I'm sure if you spent enough time there you would find some
F. WTF is a scalley?
G. Can't comment
H. I prefer beds
I. I prefer chairs
J. sushi does nothing for me
K. loads of great bands play in other developed nations too, I would imagine

Just my two cents.

CemetaryGates9 05-12-2005 04:27 PM

I never find asian girls hot. And what really pissed me off is these damn sites that think an extremely black guy with a humongoid dick doing an asian girl is the hottest thing ever.

New Sputnik review up, please give feedback. I spent two-and-a-half hours preparing it and writing it, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
