Hmm..I don't like school. I hate waking up early and I find all the classes dreadfully boring. The only good thing about it is seeing friends everyday. And band I suppose. Its the only class I actually like.

i dislike the immense lack of sleep i get, and my classes are generally designed for complete retards. i'm actually quite smart, but i never cared enough to try in school, so now i have to sit through a grade 12 english class where the teacher is explaining how to break a sentence into quotation marks for 80 minutes. (yes, simple sentences like "Hello," said Mr. Johnson, "how are you?" )

but i do see my friends almost all day, and i have an 80 minute spare with one of my bandmates. plus it's a great way to meet new people and such.

overall, i'd say that disliking school wins by 60/40 for me.

Good rest is the key, lack of sleep will kill ya in the end.

The D.I. from the bass was messed up, so we're gonna mic him next time, and gonna change which mic used on the guitar cause that one sucks lol

They came out ok with a bit of tweaking. The bass is pretty low since we had to turn it down a lot to avoid the jacked up sound it made lol

We WILL be re-recording on tuesday next week, starting with an 11AM practice until roughly 5PM when we will be going to the Madball/Walls of Jericho show lol

So those will all remain as-is for now until next week. Hold it Down is a brand new song, as is another untitled song (called "the pretty song") that came out weird on these recordings.

On a happier note, I started repairing the damage on the 13" shell and I also started varnishing the inside of the 12" shell.

started school today. its was okay, but wont be the best year ever, thats for sure. i have a paragraph due tomorrow for science, but she never told us what we were supposed to write about. i hope that is the only major thing i have due, cause i cant remember jack right now.

and i get to start work tomorrow. yay.

EDIT: aslo, every like, 3rd word out of my english teachers mouth was "super". "were gonna use these a super lot for a little. then not a super lot, then a super lot again." and half of my history class was the teacher talking about a trip he took to the carabean(sp) and he got an empty cuban cigar box that he put sand and stuff in, and it got distroyed by customs. it was completely un-related to anything we were doing. and he likes to speek in the third person a lot.

I started a few weeks ago. This year sucks. I'm a sophmore in high school.

I can't wait till I start my job though! I'm teaching drum lessons out of my house this year now that I have 2 sets. It shall be great fun. Its so awesome that I am getting money for teaching people something I love. :)

Should be a good year, all the teachers in the CT department quit, meaning they had to get all new ones, which is good because for the last two years I hadn't learned jack anyway, so this year is bound to be atleast as good as the last two :D

Im sure he'll be supervised, i've seen kids at the range with rifles all the time with their parents.

My mum absolutely hates guns. I just thought it would be a good investment seeing how the Chinese are planning to take over the planet.

Not sure about weapon laws over here. I know they're trying to ban ALL air weapons though
