Is it a record?

If it is its gotta be worth something.
Nah, its a cd. But it was an original...I bought it used..

Check E-bay to see if they have any going. If there's loads then it's not really worth much but if there's none then it may be worth something.

Well how much did you get it for? Chances are that's about what it's worth. I have a un-remastered copy of PSBWB myself, which remains my favourite 'Deth album.

There is only one.
It is selling for 10 on ebay.

Jev 12-20-2005 05:58 PM

Yeah I guess it's worth $10 then :-/

Deconstruction 12-20-2005 05:58 PM
Yeah I guess it's worth $10 then :-/
Thats only the opening price..could it be worth more? :upset: Oh well, it still has sentimental value.

Lord Abortion 12-20-2005 06:05 PM

I'd like it...I'm getting the CD soon.

/first post here in months.
How are all you Droogies doing?

Welcome Back Ollie!

Yeah anyway, things have been real slow in here. No word from Megadeth on new recordings or anything. :(

Lord Abortion 12-20-2005 06:11 PM

Still holding the title of "second best band I've seen live" though
after Maiden, of course.

I check the site every so often, the Duck Dodgers thing was Fantastic.
I love the intro riff to Back in the day with all my heart.

Jev 12-20-2005 06:14 PM

Heh same here. Except DT are the best I've seen (sorry to bring it up :p)

Deconstruction 12-20-2005 06:23 PM
Heh same here. Except DT are the best I've seen (sorry to bring it up :p)
123..actually they are second, only to Bob Schneider.

Yeah...I just realised I'm in the top 3 posters in the DT thread..
I suppose If I saw them 'deth may go down a peg.
Cradle of filth come very close to 'deth, but there was no moment like Diamond head coming on for BITD, and the cradle set wasn't all my favourite songs like 'deth's was.

Apocalyptic Raids 12-20-2005 10:44 PM

Megadeth would be the best band I've seen live, but I haven't seen many.

Aw3someman 12-21-2005 08:35 AM

My favorite band live is probably this kick *** band called Savatage. And probably the fact that their lead guitarist teaches me guitar but still... They kick ***.

Sph 12-21-2005 08:41 AM

Savatage owns:thumb: Is their lead guitarist still Pitrelli?

Aw3someman 12-21-2005 10:14 AM

yeah pitrelli. Came back after leavin' Megadeth. Jack Frost teaches on weekends at this place near where i live and i get a few lessons from him.

Bazarov 12-22-2005 12:29 AM

Okay, I'm confused. I bought the Rude Awakening concert DVD today, and it says that song 9 is Train of Consequences, but they are not playing that song at all. I don't even recognize the song, could someone help me out?

EDIT- I just looked ont he back of the case, and noticed all the songs are out of order. So I'll just forget about it.

Apocalyptic Raids 12-22-2005 01:47 AM

I don't like Rude Awakening very much at all. I hate the production, although Hook In Mouth comes off nicely.

I believe that's the setlist but they cut out a few songs. Notice on extras you've got more videos from the gig.

Father_Jack 12-22-2005 07:42 AM

Just been listening to Rude Awakening. How fast does he play the intro the She-Wolf

I dont think its that bad of a live album, but I thought he could have talked to the crowd more, although the bit before Mechnix is pretty cool.

Aw3someman 12-22-2005 07:46 AM

Agrees. :thumb:

Jev 12-22-2005 07:46 AM

I just don't like the actions Dave does on stage. They all just look cheesy, like in In My Darkest Hour on Rude Awakening where he sings "now as I die for you". It just makes me laugh.
But yeah, that She-wolf intro is pretty damn fast. I aslo heard recently Dave can't read music or tabs and doesn't know any chord names. I think that's pretty amazing.

Father_Jack 12-22-2005 07:49 AM
I aslo heard recently Dave can't read music or tabs and doesn't know any chord names. I think that's pretty amazing.
Wow.

Well theres a reason for me not to learn sheet music

And yeah all his actions on stage are really cheesy. I have a video of him performing Sweating Bullets, and it's just bad.

Jev 12-22-2005 07:50 AM

I have to learn sheet music. I know it but I'm a bit slow at reading it. Need it for A levels. Meh.

Father_Jack 12-22-2005 07:52 AM
I have to learn sheet music. I know it but I'm a bit slow at reading it. Need it for A levels. Meh.
I was planning on doing it, but my guitar teacher said it's not really essential for guitar and just learning theory is plenty sufficient, so I decided not to.

Aw3someman 12-22-2005 08:48 AM

If your doing a fast song it slows you down majorly. I know it but i still stick w/ Tabs

FlyingPaul_83 12-22-2005 10:02 AM

So I gave Peace sells a listen today, as i hadn't listened to it in awhile, and I forgot how great that album is.

i dunno, not really, it just takes some practice to get the pattern right. i think BTU is faster? dunno, haven't learnt BTU.
i dunno, not really, it just takes some practice to get the pattern right. i think BTU is faster? dunno, haven't learnt BTU.
I think BTU is easier. It's all triplets. She Wolf intro's pattern is difficult to get down at first.

Father_Jack 12-22-2005 11:08 AM
i dunno, not really, it just takes some practice to get the pattern right. i think BTU is faster? dunno, haven't learnt BTU.
The recorded studio album isn't that fast, but I doubt I would be able to play it how dave does on Rude Awakening.

And yeah, I agree with happy, BTU is easier to get down at first, but She-Wolf is easy once you get the pattern sorted.

Jev 12-22-2005 11:11 AM

I think She-Wolf's solo is pretty simple. I love the RA version.I'd love to do that live. Unfortunately I'm the only guitarist in my band. Having a duel with myself wouldn't look so great.

I love before Hook In Mouth, Dave says "This one's from a record called So Far, So Good, What!!!" Something like that anyway.

Father_Jack 12-22-2005 01:20 PM
I love before Hook In Mouth, Dave says "This one's from a record called So Far, So Good, What!!!" Something like that anyway.
Yeah thats cool, the whole crowd shout "So What!". I'm not that big a fan of Hook in Mouth. Its cool, but its not their best.

Father_Jack 12-22-2005 01:47 PM

I've a question. You know on the SFSGSW re-release. The bonus tracks are the Paul Lani mixes. Who is Paul Lani?

EDIT: Doesn't matter, found the info on the megadeth website.

I think it's the best track on SFSGSW.

Hook In Mouth is up there but I think the best track is Set The World Afire. Hmm.. or maybe IMDH. Hard to choose.

Im more of a RiP kinda guy i guess:smash:

Apocalyptic Raids 12-22-2005 05:59 PM

Hook In Mouth is one of my favourites. It, Set The World Afire and In My Darkest Hour are the best tracks from SFSGSW.

JonG 12-22-2005 06:01 PM

The only Megadeth album I have is Rust In Peace. It's awesome, but what should I get for my next Megadeth album?
