Fallout 3 is amazing until you've explored like almost all of the world, then that sense of wonder is kind of gone. It's still cool then though but that initial feeling is irreplaceable.
Yeeaahhh I agree. The world is huge and expansive though, it's a great RPG and does it without the whole "travel to another planet/city/country" whatever that some do. In retrospect the world is fairly small, it's just that it's all the one mass area.

gaslight 08-15-2009 10:55 PM

Yeah, once you've explored everything it's small but it creates that sense of hugeness and desolation. Mmm. I think I'll give it another play when I can get to my PS3 again.

I read somewhere that the expansion content is going to be released on disc for PS3 :D.

funkyhoney 08-15-2009 11:11 PM

Oh wow. Awesome! I need to hurry up and get some HDMI cables.

gaslight 08-15-2009 11:21 PM

Looking forward to Assassin's Creed 2 also.

funkyhoney 08-15-2009 11:24 PM

If it's better than the first one, I also will look forward to it.

gaslight 08-15-2009 11:30 PM

I would assume it would be. Hopefully a longer story, no time spent steering that jerkwad around the science place. Apparently water doesn't kill you anymore which is a nice touch/essential thing for a game not to be stupid.

funkyhoney 08-15-2009 11:57 PM

Well the water death made sense...

funkyhoney 08-16-2009 12:00 AM

Won it for $405.25

I am the eBay cowboy.

gaslight 08-16-2009 12:01 AM

Not wanting to spend time putting swimming mechanics and things into a game is so not an excuse.

EDIT: Tight effort man. If it's no good, just dump it on Cashies for $600+.

funkyhoney 08-16-2009 12:15 AM

HELLS YEAH!! Haha, I'm going to go get it right now!

gaslight 08-16-2009 02:14 AM

Recording an album at the moment with a rock band, got an old EP from a different rock band that's going to be out soon. Jamming every other week with a jazz quartet and I write songs on guitar at home to pass the time.

Nice man, you teaching privately or through a school? I do bass lessons at home but I'm looking at doing guitar lessons too because there's not enough bass students.

Gear wise I'm now packing an Aguilar AG500 and an Epifani UL212.

i teach through a company named mr music, basically they contract people to teach and they find all the students so i have about 24 students over 3 nights a week, and its just like office space with serperate rooms i was hired for bass but for every bass student they get there is like 10 guitarists, so its handy to do both.
