cool - I wish I had a job like that sometimes - a job where you can actually work with something you really enjoy.

:(

Ah well, guess the pay makes up for this one.
i seem to luck out with jobs like these. i have loved all my jobs so far, but i get bored too easily and quit all the time :upset:

tsl_ste 05-14-2005 06:40 PM

i've been begging worlds apart (comic book shop) for a job for the past 3/4 months.

Gnarmageddon 05-14-2005 06:42 PM

I've been thinking about looking for a job in a music shop.

looking for a job is a lot harder than having one. go apply and keep applying

Stew_Blink 05-14-2005 06:43 PM

I want to get a job at a music store sometime next year maybe..I'm thinking I might take a co-op course sometime in grade 11 or 12 and work at a music store.
looking for a job is a lot harder than having one. go apply and keep applying
True. But I've never had a job and I still don't know exactly what I want to do yet. And on the other hand, I'm not even sure if I'll have time this summer. I have summerschool and TONS of marching band practices.

Stew_Blink 05-14-2005 06:53 PM

It will probably be hard to get a job at a music store here, where I live. We have 1 music store in our town and they already have like..3-4 people working there that know alot about almost every instrument and stuff they have there. It's a rather small store to, nothing big at all, so the 3-4 people they have their is probably more than enough. :(

Stew_Blink 05-14-2005 06:54 PM

If I did get a job there, it would be doing something dumb like stringing guitars, or working at the cash, or doing drum ****.

Gnarmageddon 05-14-2005 07:04 PM

I wouldn't mind doing any of that.

Stew_Blink 05-14-2005 07:06 PM

Neither would I actually :p..I'd just rather be a billionare and not work at all! :p

Gnarmageddon 05-14-2005 07:23 PM

Everyone should go read what some cunt was saying in my NOFX FA. It's quite humorous.

Gnarmageddon 05-14-2005 07:25 PM

He just made a thread too.

What a cunt.

Jason - this is my second home at MX - I usually live in S&L, but my music talk is pretty much all in here. :)

Been here just over a year now... man, time flies...

EDIT - I'm also one of the UK lads, but I'm an insomniac. :)

RissaPoodle 05-14-2005 09:26 PM

I feel like we're in AA.

I'd rather have something strong... aye? Who's buying?

my velcro-shoes 05-14-2005 09:38 PM

OMG MARK!!!!!!

Nightvision 05-14-2005 09:40 PM

True story - British beer is stronger than US beer.

German beer is for all intents and purposes nothing short of crude oil.

my velcro-shoes 05-14-2005 09:41 PM
