Wish - It's true man, if Skream emerged 2 years later his notoriety wouldn't be even close to what it is now.

The Skreamism series is amazing he still would've got the recognition he has now. His part in actually defining the genre cannot be played down.

i'm somewhat apprehensive about listening to the new skream album. my relationship with dubstep is at times totally on edge, i hear a great track, usually from this thread or the early days of the genre and i love it, then i hear some bollocks mash-up which has a remotely dubstep feel to it that emphasizes on WHOMPWHOBBAWHOBBAWHOMP.

so what's the verdickkt frankie, is it any good??

It's not the same bullpoop that other less talented artists have put with the same boring wubwubwubwubwubwubwub, it actually tries to progress more, there some jungle elements, UK garage elements, yano stuff that the genre was based upon.

Bar a few samey songs it's pretty good, the only downright terrible song is the 8-bit type one which just falls flat.

Probably 3/3.5 out of 5.

wow 8 bit baby is bafflingly poor, i cant imagine anyone writing that and thinking "yeah you know what. track 2 that one".

the album just wouldn't suffer without it though would it? it's over an hour already, it could have easily been omitted to make the album better. same with the new M.I.A. album there's some dodgy tracks on that like. and gaga's album actually - i hate speechless so badly..baffling, especially in this day and age..alas, i will just never listen again.
