I have a dream of living a pretty minimalist life. The only stuff I care to spend money on is music equipment, and even that I don't spend much on.

I don't really care about all the luxeries people constantly waste money on.

As long as I have some instruments, somewhere to sit, somewhere to sleep, and food to eat, I'm happy. I guess a computer would be my one real luxury item, which I would definitely use for recording, even if not professionally.

I smoke high quality stuff all the time, it can only get to a certain level until it's all pretty much the same. It'll just come down to taste/smell/high preference when you're smoking stuff that good.

Definitely ask around and see if anyone says it's worth. Also see what else you can get for less money but still high quality.

The prices may just reflect where you are, I'm only telling you what I know.

Definitely. I haven't actually dealt with anyone directly in a long time, so this is sort of a new experience.

Recording an album and playing as many shows as possible.

The album is almost completely written and I'm really excited about it.

Other than that, I'll probably go on another camping trip with my friends and keep working my lame Mon-Fri job.

My girlfriend and I are taking a week long trip to Montreal and Quebec City in about a month. Hoping to meet up with Jesse to have a few beer (few dozen, that is).

I've got graduation in May.

Then my friend gets back from his Eurotrip in June and we're putting together a band (you should check the tracks in my thread ;)). We're both taking a year off of school, so we can just dedicate ourselves to writing music.

I've got my cousin's wedding to go to in July/August, which will be a good time. We're staying at a night resort in Nova Scotia for 3 days, lots of good food and beach time.

Then I'm moving out by the end of summer, and will just do whatever the hell I want for the next year.

And, yeah, it's the other guy from the Hearth and Salamander, although we'll be adding in other people and probably changing our name. We're just keeping it under the H&S moniker for now, just because it's easier.

We're looking for a guitar + bass + keys + drums set up, plus vocals (done by Jeremy on guitar, so that's a non-issue).

I may be play keys, actually. We're going to see which instrument it's easier to find (keys or bass), and then I'll play the other one, haha. I'm doing about 70% of the digital instrumentation on these songs (I wrote all of the last one), so I don't mind playing keys live.

I've lived in the same house my entire life, and I'm finally moving out. I'm pretty stoked, except I'm one hell of a poor bastard and rent isn't gonna help much... I need another bass dammit.

From what she's cooked for me, yes. I tend to do most of the cooking, or we go out to restaurants.

She cooks bacon the best out of anyone I've ever come across, though, so that's major points in her favour.
