well, you did mention going to another CD would kill your ears, so i thought you only got itunes or something. If you do use itunes, get better amps that can go above what the normal computer volume is.

if you actually meant that you have a hard copy, send it to the store and see if they can give you a better copy.

This should work...

highlight the entire album, right click and go to get info. at the bottom, under genre there is a section that says Volume Adjustment. If you put that higher, it should make the album a bit louder.

I've always done this for everything in iTunes and it always confuses my friends on how I can get my iPod to go so loud.

Yeah, but once you get to a certain point it doesn't go any louder.

What that does is it just makes it quicker for the music to get to full volume. Once it reaches it (it's somewhere around the halfway point on the volume slider if you raise it all the way) it doesn't get any louder. At least, not for me...

I've had absolutely no problems with my PC. None. The thing is absolutely great. I also use this thing for all my home recording, media, all that ****. Never had a problem.

Both work fine if you know how to use them...
