Joel: Psht, rock band? We're a low rent screamo band...it's just me screaming about this one girl while my friends go crazy on their instruments, haha.

Screamo = subgenre of rock yes?

yay for super-generalizing!

cbmartinez 03-12-2006 01:15 AM

I would have to agree with that.

Not too much, just wrapping up the quarter. Had a final today, have another Wednesday, and on Tuesday I have an audition to get into the Music Ed program here, so the next couple days are going to be practicing/studying during the day and probably getting drunk at night. What about you?

Dead Star 03-12-2006 03:51 AM

OMG It snowed last night, really heavily too.

Whn I go out my front door, its up to my shins.

It's still snowing here.
If you go outside, it goes up to your shins I'd guess.
The snowflakes aren't that big, but there's a lot of it.

Dead Star 03-12-2006 04:50 AM

I just shoveled my back and front paths.

Its closer to my knees at my back door. This is amusing.

chumpradio 03-12-2006 07:10 AM

I just made a 7 foot tall snowman.
And my brother ****ing kicked it down. ****ing spatula.
I didn't even get a photo or anything, I was just putting a hat and scarf and face on it as well.

EDIT : Made it again.
May try to get the photos off my phone.
It was near 7 foot again. :D

Dead Star 03-12-2006 08:22 AM

Nice one Chris.

chumpradio 03-12-2006 08:31 AM

Most of the pictures didn't work well. :(

You can see it's height on this one. I am about 6 foot, so it's pretty tall.
That was before I gave it a face and stuff though.

And check out my cool style with my hat.

Dead Star 03-12-2006 08:35 AM

Your snowman is Madcore :p

billiejoe84 03-12-2006 08:45 AM

Whoooah. That's a big-ass snowman.

See my snowman, at the opposite end of the scale.

So, tomorrow is my first day at Norwich Union. I'm quite excited, but worried at the same time. I'm still not sure exactly when the buses run, which is a bit of a gamble.
No. You're best off getting onto a boat, or onto a secluded island (via boat).

Everone knows that Zombies can't swim or operate semi-complicated machinery, they can't get you on a boat or on a secluded island.
No. If you desperately needed to get to the island you should be damned sure that there's a safe place to stay and lots of food. And that you can get there quickly.

Apparently you don't know that zombies don't breathe. Therefore they can stay underwater for very long periods of time. They can walk on the bottom of the body of water until they eventually disentigrate. So if you were in a boat and you pulled into shallow water, your boat could suddenly be sabotaged when a few zombies walk up out of the water and grab you.
Sounds good, except

I would run them bitches over :)
You should only run them over if you really have to. The collision of a car with a human body could do a considerable amount of damage to the windshield or front end of the car, which could make it easy for other zombies to attack. You're best off to find a direction that leads into the open and get out of the area of chaos as fast as you can. If you can't do that, get out and run. Take shelter in a store or something.

Kif 03-12-2006 09:07 AM

It's been a while. My current computer (The Windows 98 one) broke and I just got it fixed by repeatedly hitting it. TBS leaked but I can't find it anywhere, and the final NOFX 7" is out, much to my pleasure.

1) Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter truely does own. The missions are great, the scenery is beautiful and the gunfights are challenging and require good tactics. Hopefully this will eliminate the retards who infest Perfect Dark Zero on XBL. I also got Dead Or Alive 4, but haven't played it yet.

2) I'm not happy with recording at school. Last Thursday I was supposed to record 2 songs from my friend's band and get Will from my class to lay down drums for a few tracks I need (Not want... NEED) to record. Both messed up, and I only got rhythm guitar for "Welcome Home" done (Which needs doing again it was so bad)

Kif, have you seen the full video of Jesse Lacey singing There's No I In Team with TBS?
I remember the one I got off you ages ago only had half the song, but I have found one which is apparently the full song. Just thought you may be interested.

That's cool...

Untitled 03-12-2006 11:40 AM

Work was pretty fun today, i just pissed about.

I set off this morning, dry floors etc etc, bit chilly. I went into the warehouse, and thaught "fuk me its cold" looked out of the loading bay, and it was coverd in snow, everywhere, it came down so quickly, but was cool. I finished early too so i started pissing about on oven fresh with some of my mates, i laughed at them because they had to work, they laughed at me because i sliped on the wet floor.

Anyway, my feet are ackie now.
No. If you desperately needed to get to the island you should be damned sure that there's a safe place to stay and lots of food. And that you can get there quickly.
Yet a random house that you whole yourself up in is a great idea? Four people can't live off of what you have stocked in your fridge and your canned goods for long. Especially if you had no advanced warning of the zombies.

And how easy is it to defend a house? Note than in every instance of people hiding from zombies in a house, everything by the basement is ALWAYS comprimised. Windows are easy broken, etc. Even boarded up windows can be broken eventually by dimwitted zombies. And how long do you think you can live in a basement with generaly no foodsource? You'd need leave after a few days.

If you run off to an island...guess what...you're surrounded by a food source! Fish, mother****er!

That'll last you a long time.
Apparently you don't know that zombies don't breathe. Therefore they can stay underwater for very long periods of time.
Just because they can doesn't mean they will. Why would a Zombie break into a house? Because it can smell your flesh, or hear people rustling about in the house. If you're in an island ten miles away from any shore, Zombies can't smell you, see you, or hear you. They wont cross the water if they have no reason to think there's food there. Or at least they wont until every other food source on land is depleted. That'll be a while.

People who live in secluded islands are rich mother****ers who live on mansions. I wanna live THERE rather than my own crappy house.

Plus, I rather deal with Zombies that have decayed in water for hours and hours (or days depending on how far away my land is) than Zombies fresh from the grave. Moving currents and such would **** a zombies up, especially if there are sharks in the water, because the Zombies are essentially made of open wounds, attracting tons of sharks and other carnivorous fish.

Also, depending on how far your island is, the Zombies would have to cross really deep water. The pressure would crush their brains, thus killing the Zombies.
If you can't do that, get out and run. Take shelter in a store or something.
Stores are practically made of windows. Bad idea. Plus, no basement for when they DO break in.

No. The weight of ten/twenty zombies would kill one of those pillars, thus making the house unstable, and likely to fall.

Worst of all, there's no good escape rout if that does happen. How can you get away?

Did I mention the pillars are made out of electrified steel???

And I have a helicopter. Twenty helicopters actually. With homing cluster bombs.
