Would you guys think it was lame if you saw a 2 piece thrash band (bass and guitar) with a laptop for drums? We're thinking of just programming drums into a computer, and we would also be able to use samples/sound effects/gruesome audio/etc.

I think we are going to go with that for at least a little bit, but we might stay that way forever if it works out well. I dunno, what do you guys think?

Yeah, that would be lame to watch.

I don't like watching grind bands with drum machines even though the drums may be physically impossible. Now if it's a thrash band in which the drums are possible to do, that'd be even lamer.

eh. I guess. We're going with it for now just for practices. Whenever we actually find a drummer that's interested he's not talented enough to play it, and it's annoying having songs written for months and no one to play them.

Drum machines are pretty cool. My dad and I are gonna buy one.
