my fav memory was picking up a hot little punk girl :naughty: at the august show in melbourne during spartas set, then i lost her. And then during blinks set when we were chanting carousel i felt someone tapping on my shoulder, it was her. We moshed so hard toghether during carousel and the rest of the set, then made out for a whole hour after the show. So romantic. so i guess mui fell in love with the girl at the rock show (so cheesy) :thumb:

Getting excited, I flipped open the magazine only to read that Blink 182 were originally a joke band with some Mexican name that played for weddings and parties. Now, I have read "Tales From Beneath Your Mom" numerous times, and I have NEVER read anything about this being a part of Blink's past.

I've heard before that they used to be called El Quarto and something, but I don't think they ever actually toured or recorded under that name. It might have been just a temporary, joke name, that they used for a few practices and maybe some parties. I even doubt that though.

If you had a choice of which member of blink would you like to see continue with there music career (in differnt bands )

I was always more a fan of Tom. I like his voice, he uses it really well. I always felt Mark is always trying to to sing too high for himself and it feels strained (except I Miss You and STFTK) and I think Tom is the better songwriter (Box Car Racer...also Tom wrote most of the "favourites"...Adams Song, All The Small Things, What's My Age Again, Stay Together For The Kids, Carousel, Not Now, Down, I'm Lost Without You, the list goes on...Marks best achievements are Stockholme Syndrome and Dammit)

Mark. Because I like him better. Are you sure Tom wrote STFTK? Why would Mark sing it if Tom wrote it? I know Mark wrote Go. Tom and Mark have different writing styles, but for their seperate styles, they're both good songwriters.

Mark is a lot funnier.
Mark has a much better voice in concert.
A lot of Marks songs are amazing, whilst Tom has quite a few that I dislike quite a bit, such as All The Small Things.

How could anyone dislike that song

Thats weird i think tom is much funnier than mark,
I perfer tom i think he has a better sound,but he should not have sung some of the song on the ep like- always -that song would suit mark much better

I think it will be very intresting to see if mark and travis will ask tom to sing on the plus 44 album (like tom did on the boxcar record)

I cant stand all the small things. Actually, i think i might like mark better.

But i prefer toms scratchy live vocals.

Tom is also a great songwriter and has a nice voice but, listening to I Miss You, it's wierd because I hate Tom's voice in that, but I love Marks voice in it. I'm waiting for Plus 44 to release this album because I'm expecting something good from Mark.

I would say they pioneered the blend of comedy and pop-punk a little more than anyone else, as far as bringing into the public eye goes. I'd also say that other than Green Day, no other band has brought that much attention to punk in the last 10-15 years. But I agree with you about the pissing off part. :thumb:

I'd like to see them both continue their careers even if they split. However if I had to choose, and we are talking about post Plus 44, then I'd have to pick Tom. I agree that Mark is a better singer, and seems like a nicer guy, in fact he's just barely my favorite of the three, but Tom's work on Boxcar really impressed me. Also songs like What Went Wrong really relate to me, and I'd like to hear more of that.

If Mark had some more songs the the self-titled, I would've seen more of him. Yeah, just like Tom I want Mark to impress me.
