What do you usually pull in from a gig?
Hot mama's.

Or in currency,
Usually about 1 pound per person we get along + any E.P. sales. So usually for a gig it's around the region of 30-50 pounds at the moment.

ALL violins and strings you hear in every acoustic song ever made is recorded by a french guy named Bob.. He sounds like that when he exhale.. Thus making him a very unpopular person, but usefull when recording acoustic songs.

I'm going to bump this with this:
http://www.tindeck.com/audio/my?loc=3hu86-Hallelujah.mp3

Have a listen. It's quite good.

Trigger_003 05-27-2005 02:43 AM

Does this happen to be your acoustic band?

Aes820 05-27-2005 02:56 AM

No. Not at all.
It's just some file a mate of mine linked me to. I thought it was done really well. That girls voice is fantastic.
But it has stirred me into thinking about having a go recording it myself tho.
I'll have to see how my vocalist is going, remember she got some major dental work done a few weeks back. I'm not too sure if she is really up to singing again yet.

gaslight 05-27-2005 03:14 AM

Oh yeah, how is she?

Trigger_003 05-27-2005 03:16 AM

Yeah, I remember... hope she's feeling alright. It'd be awesome to hear some recordings when you guys can :).
And yeah that recording was pretty sweet (although I couldn't hear it so well because the others had the TV too loud :().

moaner 05-27-2005 05:31 AM

that recording is absolutely incredible.
