This Football Stadium crap is annoying the heck out of me.

OMFG, SOME ONE THREATENED US ON A MESSAGE BOARD!!!

Jesus christ. People born before 1982 should not be allowed to use the internet.

Ouch, those kill.

TTTSNB 10-18-2006 08:04 PM

By the way, some asshole next door had to make a big deal about me playing on my newly bought e-kit, so now I can't have it. Can't people just get a fucking life, seriously? If they were sleeping or something, I would understand. They're the ones that make a huge amount of noise at 4 in the morning every night, so they really cannot talk.

Aaron 10-18-2006 08:06 PM

Headphones Mr Hendrix, headphones.

TTTSNB 10-18-2006 08:07 PM
Headphones Mr Hendrix, headphones.
Yeah, I had them on. They claimed the tapping sound from the cymbals was too much.

Berk 10-18-2006 08:09 PM
Ouch, those kill.
Suprisingly, It doesnt hurt at all. It's fun to look at though.

TTTSNB 10-18-2006 08:09 PM

^ Heh, when I had one, it was hard even to walk with shoes on.

Win A Rabbit 10-18-2006 08:14 PM

I had one for a while, and got it run over by a trailer frame in mechanic's class. That was no fun at all.

One day I got fed up with it and cut the whole side away. About 1/3 of my nail, gone. It grew back in good, though. No problem.

Berk 10-18-2006 08:42 PM

Yeah, That must of hurt.

Its on my left foot. Wtf? There always on my left foot.

Aaron 10-18-2006 08:47 PM
Yeah, I had them on. They claimed the tapping sound from the cymbals was too much.
tell them to pursue it down the usual chanels. They have nothing to go on.

White Riot! 10-18-2006 08:50 PM
tell them to pursue it down the usual chanels. They have nothing to go on.
Yeah, they did. They went to the RA, and the RA (while apologetic, thought it was stupid himself), said that the college rules about noise was any complaint, regardless of validity.

Berk 10-18-2006 08:53 PM

Anyone know any good layout sites?

ZorTR1 10-18-2006 08:54 PM

Hey all, my name is Joe and I live in Orange County, NY. I've been playing for a little over three years, 2.5 of which was with a single teacher. I've been relaxing from the instruction, but I'm very ready to get back into it. My main musical tastes range from death metal to J-Rock/J-Pop, along with a bit of punk, trance and other bits of different genres. I'd say power metal would have to be my favorite, however.

For a while I just wanted to be able to play crazy fast metal stuff, but am now looking to work toward incorporating jazz, funk and other more diverse influences into a solid prog/death metal sound. I'd say my biggest flaw is not having the discipline needed to sit down and do pad work every day. Since I've gotten to be more serious again recently, I've been trying to average 20 minutes on the pad/bass drum (with double pedal) running through the main rudiments slowly working from 40bpm to 60bpm currently (trying all the advice about muscle memory and playing things slow :P). My next step is picking up another copy of Stick Control, I lost mine when in Japan this summer. :(

Hope I didn't ramble on for too long, and hello MX!

Nah, I'm not Japanese. I've been there two summers in a row though and it's definitely my favorite vacation spot. The only thing that wasn't fun was having North Korea shoot some missles in our direction while I was visiting. :p

ofDooM 10-18-2006 09:10 PM
