DJ Ducksauce 02-04-2006 04:07 PM

When isn't he?

Pazz 02-04-2006 04:16 PM

Good point.

My stomach hurts.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 04:23 PM

Just for fun I put in the specs for the custom Jackson I plan to buy at some point to get a quote.

I need about $10k :(

You'll get it one day.

Well of course :p

Im just realizing how much I'm gonna spend on instruments in my life. I want $10k and $20k guitars, and then my drumset will probably be at least $10k too.

I better be making like 7 figure salary when I have a job :-\

Dead Star 02-04-2006 04:30 PM

I would kill for an Ibanez bass.

I have no money though, the bass I have at the moment cost me £80.

So there.

DJ Ducksauce 02-04-2006 04:32 PM

I probably wouldn't spend over $2000 on a guitar. Unless I had that much money to just blow off.

Gnarmageddon 02-04-2006 04:32 PM
I've not seen it but indie movies are generally too pretentious for me to enjoy. I absolutely hated Garden State.
It was a brilliant film. Had a hold of me from the beginning to the end.

I don't see how anyone couldn't like it. It was so good.

Ibanez basses are great. You could probably get one for like 150 pounds I'd think. :-\

I would. Some people dream about cars. I dream about instruments. Plus all of it is going to be custom and absolutely beautiful. The 20k guitar is amazing, I'll find a pic.

I've heard that about most the movies I hate. I'm not artsy enough for movies I guess.

Two different ones, but I want one, they're all custom, and soooo hot.

EDIT: That's hot.

Dead Star 02-04-2006 04:42 PM

I can't say I like them Vince.

:-\

Gnarmageddon 02-04-2006 04:42 PM

Those things look f'ucking retarded Vince. And you suck at movies.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 04:46 PM

:( I like them. They're sooo pretty.

PS, J: http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-EDB600-EDB-600-ERGODYNE-4-STRING-BASS-W-CASE-NR_W0QQitemZ7386508057QQcategoryZ38080QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Spence: Movies suck at existing.

Dead Star 02-04-2006 04:49 PM

That thing is hot beyond belief.

Its a damn shame its in 'Merica.

Mute Print 02-04-2006 04:50 PM

I think they're cool Vince. The first one moreso than the second.

Only because you're not.

This isn't the same model, but check the price!

Brian: Yeah, I don't like the red as much. But they're a custom breed they make 50 per year of so if I have the money I'm sure I can choose what I want.

Dead Star 02-04-2006 04:53 PM

Haha, I would buy that.

Purple looks meh though.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 04:55 PM

But that's like 3 pounds. It's basically free lol.

And there's no reserve. I added it to my watch list and if it's still low in a few days I'll send it to my bro to see if he wants it.

Shame I don't live in America.

I would actually buy that.

I also need something like this

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 05:05 PM

Psh, distortion on bass is overrated.

Mind you my bro has this, but it's overrated <_<

Dead Star 02-04-2006 05:09 PM

You're overrated.

I love how Chris from Muse uses Distortion, and I'd love to end up having a sound like that.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 05:10 PM

Muse blows :-\

Though I'v enot listened to the bass deliberately before.

Dead Star 02-04-2006 05:13 PM
Muse blows :-\

Muse does not blow :upset:

Hysteria is a good song, and you know it.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 05:16 PM

Eh, they do nothing for me. It sounds too pretentious, esp the vox.

I don't know if I've heard that song, I've heard many but I'm not sure which.

Take some off me on SLSK if you want.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 05:20 PM

Eh, what I did hear wasn't appealing so eh.

I'll stick to my Latin/Jazz kick atm :p

I'm always open to converting new people.

:)

So I'm listening to QOTSA again.

Go me.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 05:24 PM

Eh, I'm open to stuff until I have an opinion. And then I'm stubborn as hell to change.

:-\ QOTSA is another band I never got into.

/listens to Choking Victim

Dead Star 02-04-2006 05:26 PM

Amirite in saying that that you like Piano parts to music?

Well Muse use a lot of that.

Mute Print 02-04-2006 05:28 PM

QOTSA and Muse are both average, imo.

I do. But I'm not a fan of how they use it. Too spacy/atmospheric. I mean I love Black Metal and such but I don't like Muse's atmosphere *shrug*

HOW DARE YOU INTERRUPT OUR CONVERATION!!1

:p

I would say I'm liking those two bands a lot.

I didn't know it was a private "converation". :p

I'm listening to 100 Demons. It's intense.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 05:35 PM

No no, Brian ftw. :D

I would say you're liking mediocre music a lot then, amirite? :p

Dead Star 02-04-2006 05:36 PM
No no, Brian ftw. :D

In your opinion yes.

I find Black Metal mediocre, but meh.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2006 05:38 PM

Black Metal is sooo good.

Symphonic Black is such a well arranged and musically complex style.

But I'm just giving you a hard time. Opinions are opinions.

Mute Print 02-04-2006 05:38 PM
No no, Brian ftw. :D
:D

In other news, I've been thinking about downloading some metal from Vince to expand my music collection, but I don't want to fill my iPod.

What size of Pod do you have Brian?
