Ive decided on the line up for my new band, well what i want....

Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keys/synth, Singer(with a cow bell/tamberine)

And we will play play brit pop

That's quite a cliché line-up for a modern band. Keyboardists in bands are overated nowadays, they just play a little melody to back up the bassline. And the cow bell/tamborine? What, do you want Liam Gallagher in your band?

Clash Metalcore.. Very popular amongst the pop-punk crowd though. Very scene, their are a few bands that pop-punk kids can handle there witts on. :thumb:

As cliche as it is, I enjoy them quite a bit. <3 vox.

Sadly, Norma Jean isn't one of them. He Is Legend on the other hand, are an awesome band.

No, i just love how a cow bell sounds, its cool. And id like a keyboard player, some bands do some cool stuff with them, i dont know anyone who can play so itll proberly be a 4 piece anyway.

Seriously, nowadays it seems most mainstream indie bands have keyboardists in their band, and there are lots of pop-punk bands who make use of this band member too. To be honest, I don't see how it can help the band since half the time all they play is boring melodies which act more like a melody to go alongside the bass and drums.
