We do get some new members, The review site is obviously very slowly growing, it is still small yeah and might not get big but maybe some of the review site people will like this place if the old community leaves or MX integrates his site better, I'm going to make good threads in the pit, and talk about things and help people make music and show music in genereal for example. (it woukld be simple)

dude idk i'm not familiar with anyone in the pit so i'm just ASSUming but i've pretty much given up on trying to show irl people music bc they just don't appreciate it yknow and it's like i try to tell them how bad the music on the radio is but that's just actually, truly, what they want to listen to. i mean my close friends are into good music and stuff but people at work and shit.

don't bother with people in the pit. that place is seriously a shit heap. and the average person will never listen to good music because pop is what appeals to the lowest common denominator. i have resigned myself to mx for any intelligent music discussion

i really think most of the people here seriously, whether consciously or not, pay attention to if something is labeled hipster or not, if it has mainstream acceptance or not. some kind of underground complex or something. except for things like lady gaga that for whatever reason have become 'ironically acceptably mainstream for the underground'.
