WORD

and srs what could you possibly want from a browser that firefox lacks

Untitled 02-04-2007 05:49 PM

I don't get firefox, i can never stream videos on some sites, i download the plug ins and they don't work.

I have no problems with IE and now it has tabbed browsing i might start using it again.

Kif 02-04-2007 06:28 PM

Firefox is overrated. It's not safer than IE at all. It's just open source so you can use add-ons.

Patrick O))) 02-04-2007 08:02 PM

s'up

Holy Grail ftw

I might get Tideland, the latest Gilliam film. Anyone know it? I lke Gilliam and Jeff Bridges is all

Mexican Bandito 02-05-2007 06:40 AM

Afternoon all =]

There was this brat of a kid in at work today. He was screaming the place down and shouting 'I hate you mummy' =/ I felt so sorry for his mum :(

Anyhoos, I'm at college now. I was going to sneaky eat my lunch at the computers but the one I usually sit at (at the very back) is taken!

Patrick O))) 02-05-2007 09:47 AM

I bought a new guitar strap for my new guitar today =] it's brown

The guitar's black =]

band practice tonight, I'm going to be late though; my guitar lesson at uni has been re-rearranged to even later, which is a pain. We have the rehersal rooms booked for longer tonight, but still we've only this and next week before our first gig on valentines day :(

I'm free next tuesday though, so I might suggest another practice, and I'm going to email my tutor about being allowed the wednesday of the gig off. I've the time off work and everything =D

In other news, the plug is clogged again. Apparently this happened over the weekend but I've been at home most of it, so I only found out during my shower. It's not even full of hair, like you'd expect with a perma-malting hyper-Christian in the house, it's all soap scum and limescale and water residue built up. So it drains slow

And the skin on my hands is all dry and taught now, so my playing prolly wont be right good in my lesson anyway

Can some explain this.

Mersey rail are fining people who put there feet on seats, to try and help cut down anti social behaviour. wtf?

Um well it's extremely inconsiderate

basically the very essence of antisocial behaviour

frankly

some people have dirty shoes

2muchket! 02-05-2007 01:04 PM

Manchester hates teens and likes to demonize teh short people

The_Passenger 02-05-2007 01:05 PM

I'm pretty sure that no one putting their feet on seats has anything malicious in mind so a fine seems excessive, but I can see where they're coming from.

well if it means people don't do it

i guess it's excessive but effective

one assumes they have had issues with footplacement

i read in the paper not long ago, about a shopkeeper who told the parents of a 2 year old that the child could not be in the shop because he was wearing a hoody and hoodies were banned.

absolutely ridiculous

2muchket! 02-05-2007 01:27 PM

see that is stupid, because clearly it's stupid

however feet on seats are clearly a problem

also, "political correctness gone mad". A phrase that should ALWAYS be met with rage?

LOl yeah, i read that in the paper, it was in the news, they said they had an zero tolerance thing, and they was just enforcing it.

Also, i can understand the trains don't want there seats dirty, but its hardly anti social behaviour

I used to do mercendising, just because i could do product placement well and could make the selves look full and good, even if there was actully nothing on it.

Patrick O))) 02-05-2007 05:57 PM

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeead

Good news and bad news

We're not doing the valentines day gig (booooooooo!). There's no way we're going to be ready for it, and we'd rather bide our time and make a good job of it than show up half-practiced

Good news, I found out we're doing a gig on the 12th of march for some pub owner/local metal celebrity (apparently, I don't know I don't live in Huddersfield these days)'s birthday, with a whole truck load of ace bands

Word is, apparently, that we're to be third from the top of the bill of an all day gig? Which is ace if that's how it works out. Considering headlining is Evile, who've just signed with Earache :D

Patrick O))) 02-05-2007 06:03 PM

and me and the drummer want to do a Walk jam. We did it earlier, all Tom Waits-y, it was fucking metal

Anyone who wants to add us, can - http://www.myspace.com/gaolblacklisted

There's nothing on it yet, we just made it :upset:

mish_a7x 02-06-2007 06:08 AM

congrats Patrick :D

BB auditions in 4 days

Mexican Bandito 02-06-2007 06:12 AM

you're going? =/

Patrick O))) 02-06-2007 06:16 AM

 are you going to create a froufaraah to rival this years celebrity bb?

I think you should. Be racist against white people

Oooh! Mention my band as often as you possibly can :D
