Nice.
 Hey!

Let's not get into that topic. AGAIN.
Nice.

Badmoon: Any time you get, since you rarely visit here. Could you upload Yonder Mountain String Band - Elevation or Bob Weir - Ace?

I'd like to hear these albums, and I can't find them on Soulseek.

Cheerio.

I can email you Ace if you'd like.
I have decided that Woody Guthrie is amazing. Most important figure in pre-1950 American music.
What about Robert Johnson? He had a big influence!

robo2448 01-11-2006 08:10 PM

Albert King is so awesome. I've been listening to him a lot lately. I think he's one of my top 10 or so guitarists ever. Awesome stuff.

Alright that's completely random but he owns hard. Best of the "Kings" (BB, Freddie, and him).

np- Born Under a Bad Sign

And yeah I'm probably a bigger Robert Johnson fan than Woody Guthrie fan. Both are great though.

clown_phobia 01-11-2006 08:11 PM

I heard Albert King was so amazing because he never played outside the blues scale

JonG 01-11-2006 08:39 PM
I can email you Ace if you'd like.
Alright, thanks.

jong21790@gmail

Albert King's great. BUABS is a good album. Have you heard Live-Wire Blues Power?

gmoneyguy 01-11-2006 08:40 PM
I heard Albert King was so amazing because he never played outside the blues scale
I dont get how thats amazing

clown_phobia 01-11-2006 08:45 PM
I dont get how thats amazing
It was amazing because of how good his guitar sounded

Glitterati 01-11-2006 08:47 PM

What are everyone's thoughts on Ray Charles?

clown_phobia 01-11-2006 08:50 PM

I like him. I've only heard a few songs though. I really like 'shake your tail feather' with the blues brothers.

I am currently obsessed with Plastic Ono Band. I love everything about that album, from start to finish.

blue3 01-11-2006 11:14 PM

You're always currently obsessed with something Beatles related.. which is not a bad thing. I've haven't heard all the tracks in that album yet.
I want a Floyd reunion tour. Right now.

*wishes*

If they did happen to have a reunion tour, how much would you be willing to shell out for tickets?

Assuming it's basically the last chance to see Floyd, ever.
I would sell my soul to the devil for Floyd tickets.

/Flanders appears

Just kidding.

But really, I would.

blue3 01-12-2006 12:30 AM
I would sell my soul to the devil for Floyd tickets.

Just kidding.

But really, I would.
I probably would too, haha.

Leper 01-12-2006 12:41 AM

If you wouldn't be willing to give up your soul for Floyd tickets, you probably shouldn't be posting in this thread. But whatever, some value their soul more than others.

Wusses.

Seafroggys 01-12-2006 01:00 AM

i would have gay sex with an HIV-infected man to see The Beatles, all four of them. They can be as old as they would all be now, but at the same playing level that Paul and Ringo still have.

clown_phobia 01-12-2006 01:07 AM

To me, the beatles are more like gods than actual people... considering they were around such a long time ago and John died before I was even born... they things they did, the music they made... it seems to me to be greater than what any human could do...

blue3 01-12-2006 01:09 AM
i would have gay sex with an HIV-infected man to see The Beatles, all four of them. They can be as old as they would all be now, but at the same playing level that Paul and Ringo still have.
Ha.. that's kind of gross.

Leper 01-12-2006 01:14 AM

It's very gross...I'd only do it if they were in their prime.:)

Seafroggys 01-12-2006 01:45 AM

considering you'd be resurrecting two people from the grave, wouldn't you?

and yes, the Beatles are Gods.

clown_phobia 01-12-2006 01:53 AM

The beatles were more than just a band... they were about so much more than just the music...

I_love_germans 01-12-2006 04:41 AM
That sucks man.

I don't really have much to add except that I'll be getting my David Gilmour tickets this weekend when they go on sale. :)
WHAT!?!!? Dave Gilmour tickets?!?!? When? Where?

JonG 01-12-2006 08:14 AM

I don't have to go into school 'till 10. I have a lot of time in the morning now :)

I downloaded "Old Hands" by Yonder Mountain last night. It's pretty good so far.

clown_phobia 01-12-2006 10:21 AM

wow. John Lennon's God has just gotta be one of the greatest songs ever. That song is so emotional, every note rings to me. It speaks to me in so many ways.

Glitterati 01-12-2006 10:45 AM
considering you'd be resurrecting two people from the grave, wouldn't you?

and yes, the Beatles are Gods.
If they raised them from the grave and they were all decaying and stuff....oh god :upset:

PinkFreud 01-12-2006 11:00 AM

yeah that'd be gross to the point of being distracting from the music.

i can't quit smoking guys.

clown_phobia 01-12-2006 11:12 AM

Have you tried those patches?

JonG 01-12-2006 11:19 AM

Whew, just walked home 3 miles in about 40 minutes. I listened to some Revolver and some of American Beauty on my journey.

clown_phobia 01-12-2006 11:32 AM
