You should be Chris.

You could go under the section entitled "MX Scene Kids".

Just Kidding. :p

I remember when Dan saw counselors.

You never mentioned that to me though. :(

I'd think you'd know more about yourself than any shrink would. (and I mean you specifically, not people in general)
Oh. Interesting. Well it was bad times. For anyone considering counseling here's some advice: Forcing people to attend additional counseling is a terrible idea.

I do. I figured honesty was the best policy and they flipped out and all was bad. Not doing it again.
That's why I changed my screen name from Bleedthesky to BridgeToSolace a while ago. Too many people I didn't know, or didn't want to talk to, where getting my screen name.

Now only trusted friends and random strangers on the internet know it.
I changed my screen name a less than a year ago. There used to be 50 or 60 kids from my school who knew my old screen name, and I didn't even know most of them personally so I changed it.

I have two screen names now. One I use for MXers only, and one for friends from school. I might just start using my one that you guys know. I'd only give it to like 2 people, to avoid things like this permanently.

/cancels In/Humanity transfer

billiejoe84 11-03-2005 09:15 PM

What do you guys think of the journal feature? It seems pretty emo, but I've enjoyed making my one entry so far.

I will be reading all of yours, providing your entries are less emo than 'So today sucked. I cut my wrists and cried in a corner a little bit... Actually that was a lie. But today did suck.' :p

Actually that's not true... I'm sure I'll read them anyway. I do have no life after all...

Haha, you know I love you. :-*

They're really awesome, by the way.

Vince: I considered going to a counseler or a psychologist of some sort. Bad idea?

Emo violence, best genre ever.

I've never heard that term before. What other bands fall into that category?

Similar reason as yours I suspect.

Sadly, yes.

This applies to both statements.

I very much doubt it, but if that is the case...definitely a bad idea. Especially because you'd have to bring it up to your parents too.

I don't doubt it much at all. I'd rather not get into on here though.

Night.

In/Humanity invented the term with the song "Emo Violence Generation." It's just another word for screamo. The only other bands I can think of are Combatwoundedveteran, Uranus, Love Lost But Not Forgotten (kind of).

I see. Thanks again for the In/humanity stuff. It's really good.

Jon:

Chris: That was Jon. I only wrote: "One user, cbmartinez, is considered to be one of the most knowledgeable "scene kids" in history"

billiejoe84 11-03-2005 09:28 PM

Arrrgh. I'm feeling too wrecked to be making any attempts to be on MX anymore. I can already feel my hangover kicking in. Feck.

I look forward to tomorrow, when I get to see my lady mate, and get slagged off by Butler for slating Franz Ferdinand tonight.

Should be fun.

"While the term Emo Violence is often used with the above definition, it was originally created by the band In/Humanity as a joke. Chris Bickel, the band's front man, took the name from the Cameo album "Emotional Violence", the usage itself an ironically joking play on the term power violence, as used to describe bands like Infest, Man Is The Bastard and Spazz. The term then began to be used to refer to other bands in the southeast that played a similar style such as Palatka and End of the Century Party."
