I have no idea how we could. I've never made a song with anyone. My family and most of my friends don't even know the club is in existence. It'd be cool to try though.
Do you want it to just be noise, or instruments and noise?
Do you want it to just be noise, or instruments and noise?
Instruments + noise would be cool. I've really never used instruments.
I know, surrealism ftw!
I propose the founding of the MX Anti-Reality club.

Cool, you want to go first, or should I?

I've already changed my user title too.

*has too much excitement over something so trivial*

It's up to you. I'll be making stuff tonight. I could probably do something to get it started anyway.

Edit: in this Anti-Reality Club, could I pretend I have a girlfriend?

Sure, show me when you have some stuff, and I'll try to find something to go along with it.

Ting 11-06-2006 09:40 PM

Only if you take way too much acid and hallucinate one.

Edit: 600 posts Woohoo!

You're not here now.
Blocked from my Anti-reality.

It's more of a surreality club. This club is whatever we want it to be, and is only as real as we make it, individually.

User Name 11-06-2006 09:47 PM

So, today I was talking about religion with someone. I said "Jesus Sucks" and right away my eye starting burning.

Left Shoe 11-06-2006 09:47 PM

woudlnt that be existentialist, instead of surrealist, or in a more absurd sence...absurdist?

The way I explained it, yes.
In truth, we believe that our thoughts are more real than reality itself, and that our dreams are the key to Utopia.

Is it worth it

Efrim 11-06-2006 09:51 PM

Anyway, I finally broke through my creative barrier, so I'm going to go play. Night guys.

Ting 11-06-2006 09:52 PM

Played one a few weeks ago. Overall pretty good but a little heavy for me.

User Name 11-06-2006 09:52 PM

I'd say yes.

I'm trying to think of names for my other solo project. Suggestions anyone?

edit: later Jesse.

One Groovin Clown 11-06-2006 09:53 PM

I've heard that it's a one-tone wonder. But cheap price none the less.

Have you seen What The Bleep?! Down The Rabbit Hole?

It is all about quantum theories and whatnot, and about how our thoughts are what cause direct change to our surroundings. We perceive what we want, and we actually control pretty much everything and anything.

It is a really interesting watch if you are into things like that.

Ting 11-06-2006 09:54 PM

On an on south of heaven!

Akira 11-06-2006 09:55 PM

That Myung is sweet. Awesome color. And that inlay pattern is beautiful.

Hmm, sounds interesting. I'm guessing you can't just find it at any Blockbuster?

It looks way better without the gold hardware.

I'd go for it. It's better than the Spector or the Dean, imo.

Is that a suggestion?
That makes me sound good. I don't know if anyone would be fooled. thanks though!

Ting 11-06-2006 09:59 PM

The thing that really stood out to me with the myung was that it was really easy to play, action wasn't to high, string spacing was good, ect.

I just looked at my starcraft cd case and thought of that.

How about, food for thought? :p
Hmm, sounds interesting. I'm guessing you can't just find it at any Blockbuster?
Actually, that is where I found it.

I was just looking for films because I have too much time on my hands, and far too many film channels, but I went to Blockbuster. I thought it was going to be just some normal film about this girl, but it turned into this entire quantum theories film, and I was like "!!!" I sat with my mouth half-open the entire film because I was so intrigued. :p

It is even better because the actual story of the girl they use is set in Portland. :)
