im a maiden fan what can i say..... can anyone else say that they went on amazon to buy one album (FOTD) and ended up buying there entire back catalogue??? well, apart from eddies archive, that thing is a 'Kin nightmare to find...

:lol: I used guilt to get Eddies Archive, I was in hospital at the time and I said to my mum, I want Eddies Archives so she got it and I lived happily ever after :lol:

besides the other threads like metallica and such all bash anyone who isnt a fan of them... dont get me wrong i do like metallica, but i have toi say, if i had a choice between paying 150 for a ticket yto c maiden on the other side of the world and seeing metallica in my home town for a quid id pick maiden...

I find that his voice is deeper and for some reason that annoys me..and I find that his voice didn't suit Maiden..and when he was with Maiden they made like 7 songs just about war..I didn't like the way he infleunced them that much..but really i have nothing against him..

although Lightning Strikes Twice was done in his time..and it's one of my favorite Maiden songs..although I think Bruce might be singing it in the one I have (my friend sent it to me over MSN, so I'm not sure) :confused:

From the songs I've heard with Blaze, the problem isn't the vocals but the songwriting. Just IMO.

actually..i think your right for the most part..i still have a couple of problems with his voice..but his lyrics weren't all that fantastic..and the music when he was around wasn't really great either..

Most of the 90s was a crap period anyway for Steve and the gang.

Some songs from BNW were written in the VXI sessions.

I think song wrting was great, the only thing that wasn't great was the production VXI IMO has the worst production of all their albums.

But the albums weren't up to the standards of their first 7 albums. Admit it!

Frankly, as a Maiden album it wasn't as good, but if it was any other band; I'd say it was good. I keep meaning to get more Blaze albums, but I have to save up for my new rig.

I have the As Live as it gets by Blaze and it's bloody great.
