Heh, yeah that sucks. But it sucks more knowing that what you've learned a whole semester can't be forgotten because you'll need it in subsequent semesters.

American drinking laws are weird. Drinking is intergral to uk culture pretty much, and alot of kids start from an early age.

I never drank heavily until I turned eighteen though; then smoking drinking all the vices.

Britain has the highest sale of alcopops (bacardi breezers and stuff) in europe, and also the highest rate of teenage pregnancy or something. I'm too tired to look up a source...

Meh who cares. I drink since I was 15, and never done it heavily, other than thrice or fourice, who is counting.

im 18 i drink at least once a week, the 21 law just makes it more of a hassle to get beer

Kids all find ways around it though. Like getting the oldest looking kid (usually with a bit of rubbish facial hair and his brother's ID) to buy a six pack of the cheapest beer possible, or some really terrible spirit and a load of mixers.
We used to go camping and drink, thinking we were really cool. it was pretty fun.

I'm pretty sure Australia has the highest number of teenage pregnancies. Damn stupid welfare giving incentives to get knocked up lol.
