"Johnny Tightlips, how was your flight?"

"I ain't sayin' nothin'"

MENTAL YO 01-25-2006 07:24 PM

My band sucks. My Mo-effin guitarist will stop us halfway through a song and want to move onto the next song even though we don't have the other one tight yet! AAAAAAnd they want to do 34342435 Nirvana covers and some Pearl Jam covers. So I'm like:

Me: "You guys see Brokeback Mountain yet?"
Them: "No"
Me: "Hmmm, suprising, VERY suprising....Oh yeah by the way, I quit"
Them: "WHAT?!"
Me: "Jay Kay I'll stay in the band"
Them: "You're out of the band, you called us gay!"
Me: "Oooooooooh."

/the conversation was entirely fictional.

Buzzbomb 01-25-2006 08:55 PM

Haha, I'm in a band, it's only two people so far. Me on bass, and my buddy on guitar. We haven't even played together yet.

Special Brew 01-25-2006 09:00 PM

Well then, you aren't a band.

AIRIC 01-25-2006 09:02 PM

Yeah musically they are pretty good, but vocally and lyricwise they are horrible. They lead singer is the biggest douche. Just read the lyrics.

OMG Jasse!
Since when have the mods had the little "Moderator" and "Supermod" tags under their name?
Since MX decided to replace the stars with tags. Except they are kind of screwed due to messed up usergroups so Supermods can either be labeled Supermod or Moderator

Today my maths tutor tried to teach me SIN, COS and TAN.
My brain felt as if it were wrapped in soft, opium-soaked cotton wool. But now I am not tired anymore.

Does anyone know what it is about the Mars Volta that makes their music so alluring? I can't place my finger on it, but it kind of feels like a post-apocalyptic fantasy.
