I should crash soon, but I probably won't.

You know, if we did everything we "should" do, we wouldn't have time for any fun in life. That's why I write most of the shoulds off and stick with wants and needs.

/Chris' phylisophical moment.

ATM 03-30-2005 02:34 AM

You're absolutely right.

ArcLite 03-30-2005 02:36 AM

I SHOULD be utilizing my government GI Bill and be taking college courses completely free of charge, but hell, I don't feel like doing school work. I'd rather use that time to drink, play guitar, and play computer games.

ATM 03-30-2005 02:39 AM

You are my hero.

I'm in such a rut right now in my college courses. I feel like I am just doing it to please my parents.

ArcLite 03-30-2005 02:40 AM

Just listened to your sis' song. Very 70's like, as already said, and it's pretty decent. I wish I had a real band to play with. My current band mates, MIDI bass and FruityLoops Drums, aren't very good drinking buddies...

And yeah, I know what you mean with the college deal.

ATM 03-30-2005 02:44 AM

I think I would be happier at art/music school.

ATM 03-30-2005 02:47 AM

You know what Chris, you just inspired me. Life is to short to not do what you want to. I'm going to have a talk with my parents tomorow about it.

ArcLite 03-30-2005 02:49 AM

Oh noes :upset: , I'm making you drop out of college. Well, if you enroll in music school then it's ok.

ATM 03-30-2005 02:52 AM

The only thing I am good at is art/music. I don't want to do anything else.

ArcLite 03-30-2005 02:54 AM

Well, cheers to it then. You can move down here and we'll start a band:).

ATM 03-30-2005 02:55 AM

Man, music schools are intimidating. I can't even read sheet music, so I doubt I could get in.

That would be awesome.

ArcLite 03-30-2005 02:58 AM

Well, there has to be some school that will start from the ground up. It would be a longer course of study, but it would be good. Hell, if you find some place like that maybe I would go to school after all...

Jom 03-30-2005 06:22 AM

No one saw this fall to the second page :shifty:

ArcLite 03-30-2005 06:23 AM

I wanted to revive it, but I refuse to double post, no matter what the cost. A top of the mornin' to ya by the way.

This is true.

Being the idiot I am, I took Music for Year 12 without knowing anything about Theory. When I say nothing, I mean that I couldn't even name you basic chords (Still can't :p).

Anyway, yeah it's very intimidating. You're in a class with people that have played Guitar for 5-10 years.

Riva 03-30-2005 06:38 AM

Hehe. I am doing science, and I'm in a class full of mature age morons. Makes me feel good, at least.

ArcLite 03-30-2005 06:40 AM

Hahaha, you fools and your school...

ThrashMaster27 03-30-2005 06:42 AM
Hahaha, you fools and your school...
Hey! shush, sonny. I'm not at school anymore....

Now I'm just an unemployed bum.

Wait, that's not good.

Riva 03-30-2005 06:47 AM
Hahaha, you fools and your school...
You fucking geriatric. Go march down the hall or something. :-*

ArcLite 03-30-2005 06:58 AM

Yeah, will do Dundee.

Riva 03-30-2005 07:03 AM
Yeah, will do Dundee.
That's MR Dundee, to you, Private!

I can read bare-minimal sheet music.
It would be cool to go to a "Music" school, but with a twist, you just have huge arguments and discussions on your favourite bands, that'd be awesome:cool:

IAJP 03-30-2005 07:14 AM

I think pretty much everyone on this site would attend!
And anyway, in my normal lessons, that's what I do anyway, instead of doing work...heh..

By the way, Riv, that sounds awesome, 60's were a great decade for music.

Riva 03-30-2005 07:16 AM

Oh yes. '60s and the '70s were excellent.

IAJP 03-30-2005 07:19 AM

I dunno why, but it feels great blasting mindless Bm triplets on guitar

And yeah, I prefered 70's really, but both cool.
