So has anybody here heard the Krallice album yet? It's the tappy guy from Behold... and Mick Barr from Orthrelm's new project. Now I know what you're thinking, and it's the same thing I thought, but this isn't some uber-proggy shred dissonance abusing bullshit like these guys are nomally involved in.

It's like atmospheric extreme metal, I wouldn't call it black metal really, but like black-ish riffs with like Monarcs or Gospelesque shouting way back in the mix...

I dunno I really like it and I think you metal/post-rock people would get a kick out of it

Yeah, one of the best BM albums I've heard in a while.

I'm quite pleasantly surprised because, while I do like Behold more than most people on this forum, I usually hate everything Mick Barr is associated with (actually Cromtech is pretty cool) but this is a real step out of character for both of them

Indeed, when I first the album like 3 days after it got released there was like no info about the album online, so I was like WTF WHO IS PLAYING THIS...then I saw MA and I was like :o the BTA guy can actually play music.
