I'm not old enough for my license.

Brain Toad 01-22-2006 02:07 PM
My laziness overcomes my will to learn how to drive/get a liscence.
That's why I didn't get one in high school.

Liebensaft 01-22-2006 02:08 PM

Damn. I'm a lazy bastard, but I'm going to get my permit on my 16th birthday, and my license exactly 6 months after that. I'm not wasting time.

Nerdcore753 01-22-2006 02:09 PM
That's why I didn't get one in high school.
I don't think I'll get one by June, so same for me.

DaveToopes 01-22-2006 02:22 PM

I will get my permit when i'm 15 1/2 years of age.

asdf 01-22-2006 02:44 PM

I will get my license when I'm a bit over 18.

Screw driver's ed. My dad is going to teach me how to drive.

No rush to learn to drive when I wont have a car anyway. My dad loves his kia, so I'd never get to borrow it. So what's the point?

Yeah I'm getting taught too, it's better waiting until 18 if you really have no reas to get a car before.

And I really don't. I mean, if my mom can be 50 years old and not have a license, relying on a bike and public transportation for everything, then surely a 16 year old kid with no responsibilities can do the same.

Plus I've got friends that drive, and I've learned to be a good freeloader.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 01-22-2006 08:59 PM

I just worked a 7 hour dish-washing shift.

Scuba_Steve 01-22-2006 09:22 PM
I just worked a 7 hour dish-washing shift.
did you drive there?

Also, I figure years of playing racing video games > Drivers Ed.

asdf 01-22-2006 09:40 PM

I just had the greatest online conversation with this annoying punk kid at my school, using a screen name of a mormon math teacher.

I started the conversation with UP THE PUNX.

I also incorporated "smashin' the state" "anarchy" "punx unite" "straightedge" some monor threat lyrics and other great things.

Anarcho Poser 01-22-2006 09:46 PM

I'm takin' my road test on friday.

And I took driver's ed.

I'm so unpunx.

BUT I CAN EXPLAIN! I live an hour (at least) from any decent venue, and my only two friends who listen to teh punx moved away over the summer. I had no other choice.

faith and fiction 01-22-2006 10:06 PM

You homo, driving rules.

Excursions 01-22-2006 10:08 PM

As much as I don't want to agree with you it does.

DaveToopes 01-22-2006 10:13 PM

I can't wait until I can drive.

Brain Toad 01-22-2006 10:14 PM

I seriously just wrote 3th on my paper for Math.

There was also a question where it asked me to turn the english phrase into an equation with two variables. The english phrase was: The y-value is three decreased by the square of the x-vlaue. I just stared at for a couple minutes wondering what the **** kind of question is this.

faith and fiction 01-22-2006 10:14 PM

Driving rules, even driving across the country.

DaveToopes 01-22-2006 10:19 PM
Driving rules, even driving across the country.
I assume most people think it's boring and uncomfortable?

faith and fiction 01-22-2006 10:21 PM
I assume most people think it's boring and uncomfortable?
Yeah, because that sums up riding across the country. Driving is a bit more exciting and time seems to go by much faster while you're driving.

Anarcho Poser 01-22-2006 10:22 PM

I was gunna do that this summer with my friend. But after assessing our finances, we decided it was unrealistic, and have settled to head southways instead. We're going from New York to Florida to Illinois and back to New York.

faith and fiction 01-22-2006 10:23 PM

I'm going back out to California this summer to chill with friends and stuff. Don't care if I'm scraping pennies off of asphalt, I'm still going.

Just you and one friend?

yep.

I thought you lived in California, where are you now?
yep.
I imagine that I'd get annoyed with most of my friends if I was with them for that long. I guess it depends on what your friend and yourself are like when you're together.

faith and fiction 01-22-2006 10:32 PM

Texas

DaveToopes 01-22-2006 10:35 PM

Gotcha, I guess that makes sense now, yesterday oopyman told me to go to Texas so you could beat me up, but I didn't think you lived there.

Anarcho Poser 01-22-2006 10:36 PM
I imagine that I'd get annoyed with most of my friends if I was with them for that long. I guess it depends on what your friend and yourself are like when you're together.
That's why it's only the two of us. We both decided that we couldn't deal with anyone else for that long.

DaveToopes 01-22-2006 10:40 PM

That's cool. I wish I had friends like that. I couldn't stand any of my friends, except for maybe my girlfriend for that long. Guys are usually pretty annoying after that long.

DaveToopes 01-22-2006 10:45 PM
Does he or you have AIM?
Both of us do. I'm Dave Toopes. I think his is just oopyman.
Wanna get jumped into my gang?
I'm not quite sure what you mean? Like be in your gang or have your gang "edit face" me?

Brain Toad 01-22-2006 10:49 PM

So this happened like 3 blocks from me:

AndreTheHyena 01-23-2006 12:49 AM

Thanks. She likes it when I rub it on her.

holy_roller99 01-23-2006 01:25 AM
i want to see that movie. anybody say it is really, really good.
Fried Green Tomatoes (At The Whistlestop Cafe) is way better. Go see it. Now.

RIP Ian Curtis 01-23-2006 07:24 AM

Sin City is awesome. Best film of last year, easily. I got a Marv action figure.
