I tend to do it a lot with pens, in place of drum sticks. :upset: God I'm such a dork.

Cain 03-30-2005 01:32 AM
It's by Oasis. It's so pretty. I heart it. I can kinda play it.. not really fluently enough to say I really play it though.

Yeah, go ahead with the Pink Floyd. I can play some Floyd too, I just don't have a way of recording it. :(
Is it acoustic? I love acoustic stuff. :) Fingerpicking rocks.

ATM 03-30-2005 01:32 AM

I was driving up to MA with my dad, and we both started head banging at the same time. It was really funny,

How have you never heard that song?

ArcLite 03-30-2005 01:33 AM

I may have you beat though, maybe. Unfortuneatly air drumkit isn't my worst practice. My buddies once walked in on me doing air violin to some Mozart that was playing at the time. I still get shit for it.

WOW Lucas...You wrote that? I wish I could write (and play) like that. Great job man. The production sounds good too.

ATM 03-30-2005 01:41 AM

I need to get recording equipment.

Cain 03-30-2005 01:44 AM

Thanks. :D Which did you listen to? The first? The second is cool too. If I recall, when all I had was MIDIs of them, you said you liked that one better.

The production is from Garageband.

ArcLite 03-30-2005 01:45 AM

Second one too Lucas. Excellent work. I really need to focus on doing my own stuff and so many covers.

I bet you could do great stuff. You've got kick-*** influences.

ATM 03-30-2005 01:47 AM

Us 3 could make a bad-ass collaboration.

ArcLite 03-30-2005 01:48 AM

Well, past midi's aside, I liked to first one a bit better. I have one criticism though, and there's a good chance it's solely because of these piss trebley speakers I'm using, but it seems like the cimbal crashes are a little too loud for the mix. Like I said though, it may be circumstantial.

That's what Ramsey said, and I agreed with him.

Tr00.

The cymbals are way too loud, agreed. The drums are MIDI, that's why.

We could each rip a solo over something. Mine would be hilariousy bad.

ArcLite 03-30-2005 01:56 AM

Here's what we can do...We'll start with a drum track. I'll make a rhythem track for it, being that rythem guitar is my area of skill. Lucas, you the leads and solo(s), being that you are the best of all of us. And Chris, you make an accoustic intro and interlude, sinse you said you were writing accoustic stuff.

I can tab something out for one of you to record. Just send me what you guys come up with, and I'll write something.

Thanks for the compliments on my lead skill BTW.
