You'd be surprised how much good music there still is nowadays. The Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens, The Decemberists, Broken Social Scene, Iron & Wine...it's important to keep your mind open.

I still am looking to find good bands that are actually recording in-studio right now (The Who, ABB, all them are still touring, so they don't count). I've heard that bands like Porcupine Tree and Primus are awesome, but I have yet to hear anything by them.

I've seen Porcupine Tree twice. Very good shows.

On Friday, my best friend sold a pill of 'pure' MDMA (XTC) to this kid and apparently he got really sick and scared then told the nurse at our school. He had to go the hospital shortly afterward (apparently). On the same day (Friday) we bought 5 pills of apparently the same stuff ('pure' MDMA) and they turned out to be bunk. It's a good thing though, everyone that has taken the pure MDMA from that dealer has had to been taken to the hospital. (about 5 people) I just found this out. I couldn't help it but I did 3 lines of yay (2nd time though) on Friday and I seem to be doing alot more pot these days.....and I tried to do X on the same night but it was bunk.
