varies dramatically on whether you pay in state or out of state tuition, so you save a lot by staying in your home state.

Were I not on scholarship, I'd be paying about $4000 a semester for tuition or so, so over 8-9 semesters you're looking at $35,000 or around that for total tuition costs for a BA. Private schools can run that per year and out of state is probably comparable to that as well.
