I listened to I once a long time ago (when it first came out) and thought it was literally the most terrible thing i've ever heard

but i'm pretty used to 20 minute long songs with awkward polyrhythms and noise so I should probably try it again

Do it. That has their catchiest riffs on it (well as catchy as they get) and has the best vocal performance imo.

I guess you can't. I heard a bit of Canvas Solaris in there as well. Either way, it's pretty damn good for a one man band.
