RTL was like 1984 :P
MoP was 1986. I was wrong too, it's 4 years older.
Ah fuck, my bad :(. I must hit myself now because I love RTL so much that not knowing when it was made is such an insult. I'll be back after I slit my wrists :p. Seriously though, it's bed time here so I'll talk to you again another time. Seeya  |
Wow, you're Australian?
Nah don't hit yourself. I always trhought RTL was more mature then MoP, and thus it had to be released afterwards, but I was wrong :) |
I always used to think the thing that should not be was the crappiest metallica song ever
oh wait.. |
Billboard.com is reporting that Elektra/Rhino Vinyl has set an October 26 release date for METALLICA's "Vinyl Box". The set will collect special editions of the heavy metal act's first four studio albums, plus the "Garage Days Re-Revisited" EP and the import-only "Creeping Death" picture disc.
The albums "Kill 'Em All", "Ride the Lightning", "Master of Puppets" and "...And Justice for All" have been expanded to double-vinyl sets on 180-gram audiophile vinyl with new gatefold jackets. "Vinyl Box" will be limited to 5,000 numbered copies and will carry a suggested retail price of $99.98.
Hmmmm I'm a vinylholic. My car was written off yesterday as I got rear ended by some dumbass doing about 40 km/hr, and I had both my turntables in the back (about $1500 value). Luckily, they were unharmed. I didn't even turn off the motor, I just ran to see the turntables. I might have to purchase this set. |
I always used to think the thing that should not be was the crappiest metallica song ever

Man. This guy is right...This fake double kick and saying lars cant do it is crap.... Watch Live $hit....His solo is full of double bass, and its really good overall... And, no, I'm not saying Lars is in the amazing department...But hes pretty dam good guys... his drumming on most all AJFA is really good... |
ive found that a lot of my fav metallica songs are the ones that almost nobody talks about. like invisible kid, shortest straw, holier than thou, leper messiah, and the small hours (just to name a few). i may be wrong about the whole people not talking about them thing, but i just never see it.

*doesnt agree*
Well you're wrong.
AJFA, KICKED AS.S! THE WHOLE CD ROCKED\m/
Prob is the songs raged on too long |
Well... AJFA, was one of the albums that made METALLICA one of the best bands in the world. When that album came out, it was the album that stood out from the rest of the bands.
I think that AJFA had some of the best thrash songs on there. |
Yet it was the s/t that made them known throughout the world?
|
Prob is the songs raged on too long
Ya i dont have the attention span to listen to the song ...AFJA 9.46mins way too long wolf and man great song |

I'm still a fan of it, but I think some of the songs are too similar, and One is a horrible recreation of Fade To Black/Sanitarium. I prefer even Black Album's simple guitaring to ...AJFA, but I still prefer ...AJFA to Load, Reload or St. Anger (Even though I bought all three :D). |
bump kill em all is the best
|
Ride the Lightning is the best.
|
master of puppets! thats widely regarded as the best heavy metal album by many people... some bloke even wrote a book on the top 1000 or whatever of heavy metal albums, and master of puppets was top
as it should be |
Ride The Lightning is the best, no bad songs
|
what bad songs are there on master?
|
what bad metallica songs are there? (exept purify)
|
A lot of people do not like "The thing that should not be"
I like it though |
some kind of monster... that sucks
|
what bad songs are there on master?
Well...
A lot of people do not like "The thing that should not be"
What he said And I would have said s/t but it wasnt very thrashy as the other. I owuld have said kill em all (its what i have been saying) but that album kind of had a dirty feel. RTL is cleaner and has a better final instrumental though i do like amnestia |
Metallica is gunna be doing a show here soon and im thinking of going but the tickets are pretty high priced, does Metallica do good live shows? would it be worth it to go???

what bad metallica songs are there? (exept purify)
memory remains, i disappear, until it sleeps, of wolf and man |
Ride The Lightning is the best, no bad songs
