I'm going to crit some stuff later, so I'll do it then.

Ohh 08-09-2008 07:56 PM

man, these boards are really inconsistant. i mean, one day theyres a bunch of crits, next day its nada.

Surf 08-10-2008 07:01 AM

I was going to crit it, but then I went to the pub and forgot.

So I'll try and do it today.

RunAmokRampant 08-11-2008 01:51 AM

Pubs tend to do that.

Dancin' Man 08-11-2008 12:02 PM

Kaki King is so good.

Ohh 08-11-2008 12:50 PM

99 cent high gravity.

ill be forgetting tons of **** tonight.

Dancin' Man 08-11-2008 05:35 PM

Brass monkeys?

Or even worse, sidewalk-slammer
high grav + sparks
When you finish drinking it, slam it on the sidewalk.

2muchket! 08-11-2008 06:03 PM

Jagerbombs + Grolsch ftw

Dancin' Man 08-11-2008 08:11 PM

...really? I like Grolsch, but jager tastes like toothpaste and brolove.

Ohh 08-11-2008 08:19 PM
...really? I like Grolsch, but jager tastes like toothpaste and brolove.
that's why you need to drink it quickly in a jager bomb

as much as i like any spirit, nothing will ever compare to the pure excellence that is vodka. best drink ever. especially with coke.

but i end up drinking lager mostly. grolsch is nice.

Dancin' Man 08-12-2008 09:43 PM

Cheap jug wine (Carlo Rossi - paisano) Jim Beam and micro brewed beer are all i need. Bombay Gin ain't so bad either

Go review my vocals/lyrics

Surf 08-17-2008 12:31 PM

i would do more critting but i seem to have no drive to do it at all at the moment

and that means they're usually not up to scratch

my friends and i are having a redneck/white trash party. mad dog 20/20, adderall, triple c's, 8 star, and ultra-buy cigarettes. also: rev out engines in taco bell's parking lot.

class 08-18-2008 03:43 PM

Ya I'm having problems with motivation. I know I should but. . . . just cbf

TojesDolan 08-31-2008 10:00 AM

Hey, I'm making critiques guys!

You should too!

Powerban 08-31-2008 06:31 PM

I have been. =D

Surf 09-01-2008 05:10 PM

I'll do something now

but yeah what's up s&l? no one talks in here any more

I'm going back to uni in a couple of weeks, for my final year. Half of my stuff is creative writing: writing a short film and a creative writing dissertation.

What're other people up to?

RunAmokRampant 09-01-2008 08:03 PM

Just finished handing in my poetic manifesto for uni aka 1500 word wankfest over my poems lol.

Powerban 09-01-2008 11:09 PM

I'm doing nothing creative. Go me. I quit my job and i'm having a holiday for a bit. I am currently looking for some awesome bands though. Currently spinning God Is An Astronaut. The vids people have made for GIAA songs on youtube are quite awesome.

TojesDolan 09-02-2008 08:41 PM

Some music projects, a lot of school.

Not much of a writer lately, but I'm into writing essays and stuff.

Surf 09-04-2008 05:18 PM

most of my assessment next year is essay based. everytime I leave it until the last minute.

never really got into GIAA. but I do have tickets for sun kil moon in a couple of weeks so that's awesome.

slack 09-16-2008 02:12 PM

hai gice dont you just hate it when theres that one rebellious guy who always has to give his stupid opinion about stuff

like omfgwtfbbq

Surf 09-16-2008 05:12 PM

**** man, constructive cristism is all you need to say on these threads. positive feedback before negative. lets think before we come off as a douche bag.

RunAmokRampant 09-16-2008 10:57 PM

or you could grow some balls and cop both kinds of criticism like a man idk.

thats my take.

Surf 09-18-2008 08:40 AM

off to see sun kil moon tonight. should be a good gig. no idea if there's any support acts or anything but wtf maybe they'll chuck in some rhp painters songs which would be nice.

Powerban 09-18-2008 08:52 AM

Good luck with that. I've tried to give them a listen a few times but nothing is clicking, I think it's the voice.

Surf 09-20-2008 09:13 AM

really? his voice seems pretty good to me - nothing really wrong with it. he sounds really young on the early rhp records compared to now.

gig was good, the venue was an old boat someone turned into a club which was really cool.

mos 09-22-2008 01:13 PM

skm is gud.

drumass04 09-23-2008 05:20 PM

Evening all, long time no see!

I'm back with a severe lack of inspiration on the writing front, but I thought I can at least get some critiques out there after so many people saying that the place is dead ;)

How is everyone? Any new people I should look out for that have some skills?

Tim

mos 09-29-2008 08:41 PM

no one has skills.

RunAmokRampant 10-05-2008 03:38 AM

K, just made account so i can't make a new thread so sorry if this doesn't belong here.
But what would you guys recommend for a amp for vocal practice?

i'm aware i'll need a P.A. system if i ever want to do more but i've heard of using key board amps and stuff for vocals. I'm looking at this http://raleigh.craigslist.org/ele/856929751.html
which is in my area and 200w for 110 bucks with built in simple EQ.

thanks

hismajestythepope 10-10-2008 08:24 PM
