the back door has a bit of a jamb i can grip

gonna start doing chin-ups with my regular exercise, problem is i got no strength at all and can't even do one. I can at least exercise those muscles pulling myself up and down though

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 02-03-2009 01:13 AM

Aaron i can't get it on my computer, is that all your stuff?

gaslight 02-03-2009 01:22 AM

My ideal exercise set up would be like two height adjustable bars that I could chin up/upside down crunch and stuff off of.

big80smullet 02-03-2009 01:26 AM

i can do like 3 chin ups. im like 100kgs

gaslight 02-03-2009 01:29 AM

I can do a few, but the only place I can try them is on like door frames at uni and that which isn't ideal because you only get to grip with your finger tips/right on the knuckle joint as opposed to a proper hand grip. Also to that fear or rust and nails, and having someone walk by and think you're a complete spaz.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 02-03-2009 01:29 AM

i can do 8 and i'm 107kg. but then again, i'm pretty much taller than the bar

Aes820 02-03-2009 01:35 AM
How about if the bouldering wall would overhang a pool? Now that'd be sick.
Thailand and Mallorca are good for that.

True, aye

gaslight 02-03-2009 01:38 AM

Haha, I suppose you could try holding onto the bar, and bending your knees at a right angle to knock your height off a bit.

Chu 02-03-2009 01:40 AM

Chris, are you interested in Parkour?

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 02-03-2009 01:47 AM

Awesome.

Some of the **** at extreme heights, I couldn't do.

Edit: Where he's jumping around the frame towards the end, **** yeah.

He does the transitions pretty cleanly.

horseypie 02-03-2009 01:55 AM

i can do like 900 chin ups (so like 1600 push ups)

gaslight 02-03-2009 01:56 AM

That was an impressive video, has he ever hardcore stacked it?

900 chin-ups, jesus, all in one go?

Chu 02-03-2009 01:57 AM

I can actually do more chin-ups then push-ups?

I guess, with the push-up, my weight is evenly dispersed, with the chin-ups, I just use my right arm to compensate for very weak left arm.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 02-03-2009 01:58 AM

here's another one of him

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=_iPzW_baLyk&feature=channel_page
