Really? I would've thought that it was obvious, considering that I took my username from them as an outward sign of my undying <3 for their music.

What? When?! Boy, that's about the dumbest damn thing I've heard (seen :p ) you say! I probably said I don't like the new Shads as much.\

I said "Do you like Shadows Fall?" and you said "..."

I took that to mean "no", and you didn't say otherwise when I said something like "oh, it's too bad you don't like them".

Maybe a weird miscommunication. Anyway, it's good to have someone else on board.

I'm more of a whiskey man, but when I have beer....well I don't really give a damn, beer's beer to me dammit. Wait, I retract that statement. Light beer is not a part of my alcoholic diet.

How the hell was I supposed to know that!? You could've at least said something when I said "it's too bad...". I guess that means we have our fanboyisms compeltely in sync, though I have yet to hear anything Aris out of you. :-*

By the way, the Arsis I'm listening to is so good it's ungodly. The cover art of the new vinyl is also very sexy.

I'm underage and don't hang around people who drink, so I can't help with that question.
-PA system for band.(£200-£300)
I thought it was about 500$ to get a PA system

Don't you need the mixer (300$), and the speakers (for 2, I think about 200$)?

I finally had a drummer audition for my band, Animal Cruelty.

It was alright, but since he can;t do many blast beats, it's not as good as I wanted it to be. It definitely changes the band's sound. Which I'm not sure if that's a good thing :p

Check out the recordings I have done for the band. I do everything on them.

I haven't been posting for a while, so that's why :p
I've been playing guitar and recording stuff alot lately, so that's why I haven't been posting.

I record with my PODxt.
And for drum programming, I use Fruity Loops with Drumkit From Hell.
And Audacity to "mix" it.

Aha! I'll have to check that out. I've made heaps of dough for X-mas. Just because I'm such a kickass grandson.

Haha.
Sweet, I got about 300$.

But that's just because I have a shit of rich relatives.

I'm debating on whether to get a Multi-Track Digital Recording "Workstation", or to get an amplifier for vocals on live shows.

What do you think I should buy?
Each cost about the same.

My name's Trevor, my band is called Without a Trace (and if you search for us on myspace you'll probably get a screamo band from Pennsylvania or whatever that has no songs on and never updates...so screw them, we're Without a Trace, those bastards, and we ain't changin')....if ya want to check us out...www.myspace.com/withoutatracerocks

Shadows 12-27-2005 01:59 AM

Trevor, I have no socks, for your band has rocked them off.

It is now 3:00 am here, and I'm damn tired. Before I go, I leave you with one importent note: Fragments of Unbecoming is great. Go get their album right now.

Nostalgia 12-27-2005 01:59 AM

I got some good stuff for Christmas

Zildjian A custom's (sweet *** cymbals)
Opeth - orhcid
Darktrhone - A Blaze In The Northern Sky
Nightwish - A home for the Oceanborne
My dying bride - let loose the Swans

I did pretty good in the CD department.

I don't know if this is a general question. But yeah, I know hardly anything about recording equipment. So I guess I'd suggest you get the amplifier, that way you could gig, get some bones, and then buy some really good recording gear.

I didn't know you played drums. But anyway, I'm going to try and go to get some CD's tomorrow.

Riva 12-27-2005 02:04 AM

Yeah I like Without A Trace a lot. Great show. And I think the two Aussies are the best actors of the entire show. Hands down.

hey riva congrats on the modding..... I obviously have not been here for a while

Nostalgia 12-27-2005 02:06 AM

I'm "trying to" play drums at the moment, I'm just so rich I can afford anything.

:p Nah, I'm getting good quality stuff so later when I get better I don't have to go spend money on better equipment.
