It reminds me of Bad Brains, which is sort of weird when I read your posts.
Not really. When I first got the internet I went by the name Sephiroth, which I quickly found out was a pretty easy way to have the piss ripped out of you, so I changed it. Iai was basically the first thing I came across that sounded half-decent. I know it's another reference to Final Fantasy, but I forget exactly what.

Whatever it is, I've been registered as Iai on every site I've been on for maybe 3 years now. I just like having the same name on every site.
Yeah, I could have had pretty much any handle at all, but I picked Wide Load for no real reason. So that's who I am, except on the SA forums because I'll be damned if I'm going to behave in the exact same manner on a much stricter/cooler forum. I gotta change

I don't know what Final Fantasy reference it hols, but I just read somewhere tonight that it refers to a technique for drawing your sword and immediately striking your opponent down. In one smooth motion, I think. So I asked.

Zappa 06-06-2005 07:39 PM

Back when I registered to my first forum, a gaming one, I went by "ScreechingImpOfTerror." I found out that administrator was bothered by the longness of my name, so I had him change it to "Zappa." I go by "Megatron" or "Frunobulax" everywhere but here, now, though.

Bartender 06-06-2005 07:40 PM

Where did you get Frunobulax from? Some new guy in R&M (only seen him post once) had the name frunobulaxx, and said it had just popped into his head when I asked.

Zappa 06-06-2005 07:42 PM

It's the name of a giant poodle from a few Frank Zappa songs. I'm pretty sure Frank also had a pet dog that went simply by "Frunie." It's been a while since I heard that whole story, though. Could be wrong.

Thanks for correcting my spelling. I always do that.

Not a whole lot has changed since I last posted in here, but I've listened to Ravi Shankar and Red Sparowes to help me write my shit slice essay.

Nice, Stereolab are ace on the Ketchup. And the other bands have kewl album names so I bet they are good too.

So, I got the new White Stripes album. I got six tracks in before Jack White decided to **** out a ballad like the kind that ruined Elephant. But my those first six tracks were rather good. YOU COULD DANCE TO THEM!
Have you heard Horses in the Sky yet?
Yup. Thanks to TalkingHead, I've got all their records.

Godbless Our Dead Marines is a good song. Very upbeat (well, half of it)... probably one of the most upbeat moments in ASMZ's music ever.

My favorite ASMZ song right now is probably Sow Some Lonesome Corner So Many Flowers Bloom.

Fly Pan Am - no album - just a collection of songs on my pc.
