No, lol, they're a Mex. band.

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:19 PM

oic. I thought it said something about California in their myspace. Maybe Little California then.

Is it really bad for the neck?

Oh well, its just my squier. :p

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 09:22 PM

Hmm, no, definitely Mexicans hehe. They don't look it much though.

Yeah, because new strings have more tension so the tension is off balance.

Ew, get a better guitar.

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:29 PM

/needs about $1000 then

CommieCanada 02-01-2006 09:31 PM
.Andy what brought about this sudden change of heart?
just listening to them so much and realizing how deeply effected i am by their words and music

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 09:31 PM

$1000 guitar? Are you getting a custom? :-\ I have 3 guitars and spent probably $500 on all combined.

The computer will be $1000 though, get a job hippy.

/starts d/ling more Latin Punk
I like that Silverstein song :(

He didn't do that bad of a job, but he can't scream much like the actual singer.

The "I'm too hardcore for oyu guys" thing was mad lame though.
his screams were WEIRD, his singing wasnt bad, but for such an easy song he still messed it up

he was a douche anyway

ColdFire 02-01-2006 09:37 PM

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:37 PM

Night Ric.

Vince: I dunno. I was thinking of a Gibson, but I don't have teh moolah. What do you recommend?

For the computer, I'm going to customize it if I get the chance. Good quality parts. Gaming rig maybe. Newegg parts of course.

CommieCanada 02-01-2006 09:38 PM

yeah. it was pretty bad, but he had a good voice for it, just not the ability.

and for such an easy song, that is really pathetic

Adios Ric.

Gibson is overpriced. If you're gonna do that just get an Epi. What style of music are you looking to do?

Of course lol.

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:41 PM

I dunno. A friend of mine is looking to put a band together, and he's big into metal and hardcore and that stuff.

I like playing Co&Ca and pop-punk music most of the time though. Which is why I was going for the Flying V/Explorer like Claudio has.

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 09:44 PM

Metal: Jackson/Ibanez
Pop-Punk: PRS, LP, Fender

But I'd take an Ibanez or Jackson over most Pop-Punk style guitars.

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:46 PM

Ok.

My friend has a Jackson guitar. He's looking at getting a Les Paul Studio I think. Or a V. Expensive stuff.

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 09:47 PM

Les Pauls are overrated. Only one I ever want is a Black Beauty. Because they are amazing.

I <3 my Jackson though. Best neck ever.

my Fender Strat is a wonderful guitar though.

its got a really good tone to it and its lasted me 6 years without any sort of problems

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 09:54 PM

I'd be ok with a strat I think, but I wouldn't really want one. I don't really like Fender's designs. The tele is pretty bad though. I don't like the feel of it and it's flat fretboard.

Pazz 02-01-2006 09:56 PM

I'm back! I got pissed off at Need For Speed: Most Wanted, so I put in MVP Baseball 2005, and I can only play so much abseball video games before I crave the real thing, my baseball starts on Monday.:D

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 10:00 PM

I still need to rent NFS:MW. I'm still not too happy about getting it on GBA, but whatever.

I hopefully have a tennis tournament. This rain doesn't seem to want me to though...:(

I can't stand Fender instruments tbh. I dislike them a large amount. And for the price you can pay it's ludicrous. You pay too much for the name which I don't even like anyways :)

Yeah, I dislike both of their major designs. I love Explorers and stuff like that though.

Yeah, I love the explorer design a lot too. Not really the Firebirds though. They look weird imo.

Matt: I haven't even played it...I thought the AI were supposed to be good on there though.

The GBA version is shit. Never get it.

EDIT:

lmao, on the news it says some people are trying to use puppies to peddle their drugs.

well it has a lasted me a long time and i have absolutly ZERO problems with it, unlike my much more expensive Gibson which has been ****ing up since day 1. Most people i know who have Ibanezes aren't too happy with them either because they tend to fall apart easy.

i have smashed my Fender at a show and it didnt even scratch.

as far as designs go, i dont much care. i think the fender has a nice cut away, arm rest slope for your strumming, and the stings are the perfect distance from the fretboard. I dont care how it looks, its easy to play and it can take a beating

Yeah, firebirds are fugly.

Guitars I will own before I die:

Hmm, everyone I know who owns an Ibanez loves it *shrug*

I'm not so much about looks, but I don't like the sound of Fenders most especially. Too vintage for my tastes.

Pazz 02-01-2006 10:20 PM
Haha. Wow. Drive worse? Crash into rails and drive off road maybe.
I'm not even that great of a driver. Ask Brandon, he was watching me play it last night and every single car and wall I saw, I hit. And yet I somehow still won the races. It's a really sweet game, I just been 500,000 bounty before I can race the blacklist.

Anyways, I'm getting really tired, and I think I'm going to go into my room and turn on some Southpark.

Night again guys. For real this time.

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 10:26 PM

Vince: Nice. The Kelly is pretty neat. And $60,000? Holy shiz. It is used by Santana though.

Matt: Haha.

Night.

Yeah, but...they're all expensive. They are about 20k new. But I will own one <_< They make like 50 per year heh. And they are all gorgeous. I'd play it like once then put it in an air proof case and admire it forever.

I love the Kelly though, the one I have now is a dream, so a custom is like :D:D:D

DJ Ducksauce 02-01-2006 10:36 PM

Wow. Holy crap. Hope you get a job where you earn more than 200,000 a year then. :p

I think I'm off. Gotta get up early tomorrow for tennis.

Night Vince, Andy, and whoever else is on atm.

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 10:38 PM

No problemo <_<

Actually it really shouldn't be, it'll just be a matter of whether I choose to or not.

Night kiddo.

it might have to do with my sweet amp setting too. I have a really really really nice Marshall stack that i got for super cheap and its got a great tone to it.

the fender sounds really nice on it. So does the gibson, which i use for lead guitar stuff because it has better sustain.

as for the vintage sound i think my fender Mustang has that quality a hell of a lot more than the Strat

Permanent Solution 02-01-2006 10:44 PM

All Fenders have that tonality to a degree. It's mostly in the pups, which you can change, but I'd rather get something totally hawt with good pups. You know my choices are badass :p

I've only got a combo...but I prefer drums nowadays so a stack isn't high on my list. Tony got a head and cab for xmas though. God it's sweet.

well i like my fenders. i guess i am just drawn to the Vintage sound. i do love that kind of tone, i must admit.

that Kelly is the absolute standard for every hardcore/metalcore/scene guy around here to have so maybe i am just sick of it

Drums are awesome and i really need to start playing them again.

my stack is god

Yeah, I mean, it's not that they're bad guitars, obviously. I just can't stand them.

Really? I've never met someone else with one. But almost anyone who has used mine has offered to buy it off me. It's a fantastic instrument.

Dude, hell yes. Best instrument ever.

I bet my bro's is better. Mainly because it's for bass...and bass stacks>guitar stacks.

DJ Ducksauce 02-02-2006 05:50 AM

Sup pop-punk?

What happened to all of the people that usually post in the middle of the night like normal?

Agent_Orange 02-02-2006 09:16 AM

Doing all right?
