Had a key skills exam but that's not a real subject.

Dont they still use UMS point systems ? As is out of 300, A2 out of another 300, total is 600 etc?

The marks sound right (300 for AS, 300 for A2 etc) but I've never heard the term UMS.

When I was applying those ums things were total balls. I don't think they'd been going that long either

Nowhere uses them. There's not a lot of point because not every exam board grades with ums points.

I think the only places that ask for ums entry requirements are Oxbridge

My exams were on AQA and OCR or sth, grade boundaries were done by UMS points.

my brother designed some mouse but that was a project still in uni so it didn't actually get made.

a logitech one?
there are other mice of other makes that have side wheels but the logitech ones fatboy is talking about do not. those are forward and back buttons there is no side scroll wheel on the shape we mean.

For the life of me I can't remember what I have first thing tomorrow. That should be a fun day at uni then.

Anyone have an AS Chemistry exam today? Urgh it was a f[size=2]u[/size]cking nightmare.

I sit down, open the test and read through the questions and I don't know half of them and think "I'm going to fail this exam". Then it turns out that we were given the wrong paper and so we had to wait while they printed out new ones. We were kept in isolation the whole time. Then we sat down and did the real exam.

Apparaently they sent the wrong paper to everyone, is this true? (The exam board is OCR, it was the OCR Salters course).

I had a Pyschology AS exam for me today. Didn't get to finish the last question but it was on research and I know I fuc'ked up on one. But I'm confident actually.

I did my Chem exam at the same time as the Psychology people, it was annoying seeing them leave before I even got the right paper.

Still, not as bad as the people doing both who had to wait for half an hour after the Chem exam finished to start their Psycholgy one, they must've been stuck in the exam room for 4.5 hours (I was in for 3, that was bad enough).

I really should be revising for stats now, but I just can't bring myself to do it.
