I didn't even say anything about emo! I was talking about Bright Eyes. All the songs I heard were mellow and had a sad feeling, most of Bob Dylans songs have an upbeat happy feeling. I didn't even say anything bad about Bright Eyes!

I love how we talk about how we're very openminded about music, but when someone mentions emo, the flaming begins. :rolleyes:

And maybe I am taking it too personally, but I really like "emo." It's not just guys whining. Listen to it. It's much more than that. It's music. MUSIC. Most emo bands don't even sing "Boo hoo my girlfriend dumped me." If you don't listen to it, then don't talk about it.
