Your sound quality is way better than mine. How much did it cost you for the cable and POD modeler?

I have to mess with the shitty garage band amp settings, because my USB thing doesn't have any amp settings. I get some pretty crappy tone.
His POD is only 240 but trust me you don't want it

What you want is the POD xt which runs about 300, even he doesn't like the POD he has :p (he'll tell you)

I actually have the money, because I've been saving for an amp or something. How worth it is the POD xt?

Cain: Is the cable a USB thing or what? For only 25 bucks, its something I definitly need.

a POD XT is 320 plus tax, its 400 if you get the fx/metal packs (its rendered useless if you don't get the packs and you intend to play metal)

You don't need that cable if you get a POD, which runs right into your pc with USB

Permanent Solution 03-29-2005 04:20 PM

W00t, starting RMOTM Friday, you all should be excited.

BoboTheRagingHobo 03-29-2005 04:22 PM

Eh', gotta leave again.

Later people.

Permanent Solution 03-29-2005 04:24 PM

Later Jason.

Ramsey stop POD whoring.

Let's talk not about recording eh?

Ah, If I'm would be spending 400 would the POD XT Live be better (as Bobo told me)? Would I have to buy fx/metal packs?

That looks like a better deal to me.

I really want to get into this stuff, because I have nothing better to be doing, and I'd like to make a bunch of my own songs.

Come up with a different subject and we (they) may not, I suppose.

See you later, Bobo.

This is mx, mx is life, life is too broad to discuss.

Pfft, who discusses music on a music forum? (a)

So i'd go with te 300 version

Ah, allright. I'll keep looking into it, and see what I decide. Thanks for the help though.

I wish I had more recording skillz. I have crappy stuff, but I know its capable of making much better quality things than I have done.

I suppose :) What's your name on it?

Mine won't be updating at all, since I'm on a different computer and I'm too lazy to download a plugin. So four weeks of listening will be wasted, as far as Audioscrobbler is concerned.

As in Guevara.

You sign up for an account, and download the relevant plugin for what you use to listen to music (on your computer), and then it compiles all these charts and statistics about what you listen to. A bit of fun.

i am the robots 03-29-2005 04:52 PM

My WinAmp playlist was on shuffle, and since I have nearly every In Flames and Korn song in existance on my playlist, the numbers for In Flames were in the 70's when everything else was in the 10-20 range, lol, but Korn was like 17.... wtf? Why is shuffle giving me 1 band.

Um... A while back, we had a fairly good discussion on something. Now, what was it?

Oh, and am I the only one who thinks there are a few too many Stickies?

A few? This entire page is like a sticky forest.... if put in a literal sense, it'd be like a spider web.

Riva 03-29-2005 05:00 PM

Haha, well right now I'm still at week zero so, meh.
I thought so on the Che thing, I guess I just didn't get it?

Way too many stickies, I agree.

Yeah, there are. I've not unstickied dead polls yet though; I keep meaning to, but then getting distracted by posts in threads I'm subscribed to.

Riva 03-29-2005 05:08 PM

So yeah, I have to head to uni in half an hour, to prepare for an interview on the last 4 weeks of labs, by my lecturer. Should be fun...

I'm going to get prepared while being logged in to MX, since my life is so interesting, I'm sure you all want to hear about it...

I need to complete 5 tasks - Shower, Shave, Breakfast, Clothes, Chores. Wish me luck.

Wow that concert fucking rocked.
