palatka are a sweet band. i bought "the end of irony" lp a few months ago. its awesome.

Yeah I like their sound a lot. I'm just recently getting into emo/screamo and I can't believe i've been missing out on bands like Saetia, you and I and I hate myself for so long.

Palatka are awesome. I love how their disco is like 200 songs.

I was Griff one year...

"When You're a Jet" was the song I got to sing by myself with my gang...such a fun song to run around on stage and sing. I got to jump onto a low light post and spin around on it. It was pretty sick.

Hey, I'm in Arab right now, we open this Friday.

Matt: Yeah dude, I play in Concert Band and we've been working on the score (since most people in the pit are in concert band, he uses class time to teach it). Leonard Bernstein is a mad man. Wait until you get to "A Boy Like That." S[size=2]h[/size]it is so hard. It starts off in 3/2 then moves into an alternating 3/4 and 4/4 pattern every other measure. After that it dabbles in 6/8 and 9/8. Alot of the songs have alot of the 5/4, 9/8 and I even saw 1/2.

They are amazing. Anyways, I've been reading the book The Catcher In The Rye, it is great. I love the book. Any other fans of the book?

I read it last year for English, and it's probaly my favorite book that I have ever read. Also the paper I wrote on it was the highest grade I got on a paper in English last year as well.

They say you gotta read Catcher in the Rye 3 times...once in high school, once when you've finished college, and once when you're an adult with a family of your own. Each time you will look at it completely different.

I read it sophomore year for English and I could really connect with Holden. I loved it; I thought it was an amazing book. I look forward to reading it in 4 more years when I finish college and seeing how my opinion changes.

It's a great book, though.

If you liked that book, I reccomend On the Road by Jack Kerouac...seriously one of my favorite books of all time. It's so good. :thumb:

i really liked catcher in the rye, holden was a cool kid, i felt really bad when he dropped that record he bought for his sister.

and that roomate of his that like nasty guy... ewwwww
