I appreciate they are good musicians but music like that is generally a little slow for my tastes. I know some punk bands listened to bands like the Who, and maybe they were inspired to play instruments by bands like this but the music is nothing at all similar. And smashing the instruments is not really a punk attitude, that's still rock n roll i think. When punk started it was working man's music

Yes way........They were around before Punk exploded in to the 'Big Thing' Just listen to their songs you can tell Punk is influenced by them.
