Yeah I dont know. The other stuff I'd heard had some grind to it, and apparently the stuff they're writing now does but yeah the Myspace stuff is mostly just dancier Botch.

What constitues white belt grind, again? Is it a sound thing or an appearance thing?

Most see it as a little of both but I'd say it's a sound thing, even if it is pulled from aesthetic.

Well, I don't know. I think POYRRG just sounds like dirty grind done differently.

Dirty Grind =/= White Belt Grind

I just think of white-belt as implying modernised and not necessarily "traditional" grind typically associated with youth and, sadly, the scene side of things. I dont see the label as detriment.

Well, when it includes Heavy Heavy Low Low, See You Next Tuesday, etc., I think it sort of is to The Number 12 because they are so much better than both of those and any other band that playes to the "scene".
