Yeah, that's the right spelling and meaning. And I suppose you're right, though, a lot of people don't use huge words like that in every day speech and certainly not at the undergraduate level.

My current Spanish teacher has a huge vocabulary, and uses those words that most people know, but never think of using regularly. and he is so eloquent... That's what I'd be aiming for, but I started to like reading (and spanish :p) too late for that to happen :(.

At one time there was an effort to demod him, but that was a long time ago. Gav stay, if you don't we will have to mod two people to make up for your efforts. IMO you are one of the best mods on the forums, Alex is still the best.
