BassVirtuoso 02-15-2005 04:37 PM

They don't have any good tours in America :/

fatbandit 02-15-2005 04:37 PM

Hmm. Who would win in a game of knuckles? Wolverine or Gambit? And then there's the Superman v Hulk debate. Man, headfrying...

Gambit and Superman

The real question is why.

In June 2003, I paid $100 to see Pearl Jam, beat that!

fatbandit 02-15-2005 04:40 PM

You'll have to ignore the DC/Marvel crossover on the second matchup btw...
Why? What music do you like?
he listens to good charlotte

fatbandit 02-15-2005 04:42 PM

I'm with you on Superman (unless really the Hulk's green-ness is due to Kryptonite...), but I'd go for Wolverine. Man, Gambit can burn him up good, but he'll heal. Wheras where is Gambit with no hands?

BassVirtuoso 02-15-2005 04:43 PM

I like

Mr. Bungle(Retired) Necrophagist(Foriegn) Death (Singer died) Carcass (Split), and a bunch of other bands that really tour where I live.

thelowsoundofbass 02-15-2005 04:43 PM
he listens to good charlotte
actually he is into death metal, "dieing fetus" "daygo abortions" that kind of stuff

BassVirtuoso 02-15-2005 04:44 PM

Cryptopsy might be coming around though.

Ooh, Mr Bungle. Prefer FNM myself as far as Monsieur Patton goes.

fatbandit 02-15-2005 04:47 PM

Back to knuckles though! I need answers dammit! >.<

neal_672 02-15-2005 04:47 PM

Faith No More were pretty good, never actually got round to buying any of their albums though...

thelowsoundofbass 02-15-2005 04:47 PM

patton's best bands are the ones where he doesn't use his name. my favorite one is the one where its him and claypool but they don't use there real names and there are no words in the songs. the stuff is just crazy, but i can't remember the name of the band. tho i would know it if i saw it

BassVirtuoso 02-15-2005 04:48 PM

How are Faith No More and Mr. Bungle related?

kilian 02-15-2005 04:48 PM

new avatar. yay

I want to see AFI touring again after they have finished their album :D

thelowsoundofbass 02-15-2005 04:48 PM
Faith No More were pretty good, never actually got round to buying any of their albums though...
FNM was just a ploy to get mr bungle signed. patton didn't really like FNM he just used them to get a foot in the door

best MCR song: Im not ok (i promise)

Spaceman Spiff 02-15-2005 04:49 PM

Cool, you like good music.
Mr. Bungle is my favorite band of all time.
Death is awesome, Chuck Schuldiner being dead makes me sad.
Carcass was awesome, but they were sort of going in a bad direction when they decided to call it quits.
I don't listen to Necrophagist.

And because of the mention of Mr. Bungle/Mike Patton, I must say again... I'll almost definately be seing Fantomas on April 15.
I WIN!
I've seen Tomahawk too, they opened for Tool when I saw them.... the second time!

BassVirtuoso 02-15-2005 04:49 PM

I used to like AFI in their "Days of the Phoenix" days...
How are Faith No More and Mr. Bungle related?
Someone from Faith No More saw Mr. Bungle perform, and offered Mike Patton the job as singer, which he took.
Then on one of the later Faith No More albums, Trey Spruance, the guitarist for Mr. Bungle, played guitar for them and toured as well.

BassVirtuoso 02-15-2005 04:54 PM

I never knew that...I haven't heard a band that could contend with Bungle's...I don't even know how to describe it.

Weirdness?

fatbandit 02-15-2005 04:57 PM

BV, and everyone else, I plugged these guys a while ago, but listen to LittleMissMachete, a local band. I like them a lot! www.littlemissmachete.com

They have a couple samples on there I think. Given time, they should and will make it big I think.

kilian 02-15-2005 04:57 PM

LITTLE chance, but do you know a girl named ayla who lives in Egbert, near Toronto? Also near Barrie
