Midnight Rambler!! You Can't Always Get What You Want is another absolute favorite one as well.

That whole album is sweet. Gimme Shelter, Monkey Man, Love In Vain. Its hard for me to listen to Love In Vain lately cuz I'm reminded of the night a friend of mine passed away about 1 month and a half ago...

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 01-04-2006 11:17 PM

Texas Won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

magicbus 01-04-2006 11:19 PM

My favorites on Let It Bleed: "Love In Vain", "Let It Bleed", "Gimme Shelter", "Midnight Rambler". Almost the entire album is great. The only track I don't like is "You Can't Always Get What You Want".

Really? They did a GREAT version of YCAGWYW live. A soulfull intro, a steady middle part, then a gospel-like ending. Sweet stuff...

I don't like all the chorus parts. For one I just think it sounds dumb, but it's also pretty over the top IMO. The song doesn't really fit with the "blues/country" feel of the rest of the album. I just don't like that song.

Glitterati 01-05-2006 01:10 AM

Sunday Bloody Sunday may be one of the best, most rawly political songs ever recorded. I love it.

Guns N roses-November rain.
During the last solo everything starts getting crazy and the back up singers start going "you're not the only one'
It's pretty fricken cool.

Fuck yeah bro.

I can understand why so many cats dis U2, they've made some crap and Bono and the Edge can come across like douchebags but to deny that they've made some brilliant ultra-powerful rock tunes in their time is to misunderstand rock music.
