I'm trying to convince myself that this place is still worth my time to come to.

There's nothing else to do.

Maybe if I had a job and some money, even some friends, I'd actually do things.

Same situation here really.

I mean I have money and a temp. job but my town is too small and I'm incapable of driving until next summer so it still basically leaves me with nothing.

But in plural form when you want to say parents, you say padres because the male form overrides the female form. Hence padre>madre so parents=padres.

Same with nosotros and nosotras. You only use nosotras if you have all females, but if you have even one male in the group of "we", then you use nosotros.
